Overall most of what 7.0 broke is now fixed. I am pretty confident that pending any undescovered bugs that the game is pretty close to where it was at before 7.0 broke it.

Mechanics:
Quests (NEW!): Upon starting the game you are shown some helpful tips and quests, you can turn them off through the help menu.
On Death item stacks properly are preserved for what drops.
'P' button now drops all carried items instead of 'B' button.

Abilities & Heroes:
Gatherer: Fixed telegathering for herbmaster and remote gatherer
Potential fix for losing abilities.

Spirit Ward: Fixed revive sounds, Added revive particles

Recipies: Fixed dark thistle recipie and adjusted early game trap recipies

Fireball Scroll: Added longer stun for creeps.
Cloak: Fixed armor values.
Horn of Mammoth: New model and now has unlimited useage.
Axes: Fixed range on tree cutting which prevented tree cutting.
