TELLURIAN 2.9.0.1 CHANGELOG:

- Artillery now pays more in electricity for longer range.
- Overpop now min level 1.
- Perforate also min level 1, but that's unlikely to affect any units at this stage.

STOCK CHANGES:
- Oogpister speed/size scaling reduced.
- Cheetah sight radius increased from 20 to 25.
- Horse sight radius increased from 25 to 30.
- Hornbill torso health down from 64 to 50.
- Sperm whale bite damage reduced from 14 to 7 DPS.

MISCELLANEOUS:
- Malayan Tapir has lost its nationality (it's just Tapir in the combiner--won't affect your units, don't worry!)
- UI glitch in ICO game lobby fixed
- Missing albatross text strings restored

TELLURIAN 2.9 CHANGELOG:
Note: Changes are relative to the most recent public beta.

New Creatures:
- Lion! HUGE thank you to Seb for funding the lion with his extremely generous Patreon donation. This patch would not have happened without him. Think of it as a beefier size 5 lioness without pack hunter.
- Alligator: a tough size 5 amphibious critter, great as a range base.
- Giant Squid: a size 9 direct-range unit.
- Colossal Squid: technically a remodel of the old giant squid, with some HP shifted from the head to the torso.

Creature balance changes:
- Grizzly Bear: Size increased from 4 to 5. Defense reduced to 20 from 33. Melee damage reduced from 13 to 10. Speed reduced from 29 to 27.
- Bolas Spider bite damage reduced from 4 to 2 and head health reduced. Some speed moved from torso to legs.
- Electric Eel: Bite damage reduced from 4 to 2.
- Colossal Squid: Became colossal. HP moved from head to torso, torso defense reduced from 11 to 9.
- Polar Bear: Size increased from 5 to 6, HP increased from 250 to 30, defense reduced from 30 to 25, land speed reduced to 23 from 26. Keen sense added.
- Hippo: Speed reduced from 21/24 to 20/18.
- Bull: Speed reduced from 29 to 25.
- Crocodile: Speed reduced from 26/27 to 18/25.
- Moose: Speed increased from 20 to 27.
- Mountain Lion: HP on torso increased to 38 from 32.5. You’re welcome WSO!
- Killer Whale: Size reduced from 9 to 8. HP and range distance reduced slightly. Now makes several level 4 sonic combos.
- Skipped Caterpillar: Reduced bite damage.

Combiner balance changes:
- Bug fix for uninitialized speed variable combiner crash. You’re welcome Danny!
- 10% coal cost increase for all non-artillery ranged units.
- Flying artillery is no longer charged for having range longer than the range cap.
- Defense is now cheaper than HP; if two units have the same EHP, the higher-defense unit will be slightly cheaper. In effect, units now only pay for 90% of their defense (power remains unchanged, however)

A small hotfix for Tellurian has been released. Maps missing resource triggers have been corrected and the gigascorpion has been removed from stock. The Russian localization has also been updated. Your version should be 2.8.1.1. Don't forget to slowboot to receive the update.

TELLURIAN 2.8.1 CHANGELOG

QOL:
- Three additional teamcolours added (pink, yellow, black)
- Maps now display resource locations on the minimap

UI:
- Creatures may now possess a total of six melee attacks, and new attacks have been granted to the Scorpion, Porcupine, Man O War, and Komodo Dragon
- "View online stats" text line will now only display on postgame screens from ICO matches
- Note about the TAB key will only display in game lobbies hosted via ICO

BALANCE:
- Hovering tweaked to reduce effectiveness of hoverblocking (min. rank 2, higher base cost, shorter distance)

MAPS:
- Added all spectator maps and fixed 2SPEC Vacation's display name
- Added Zombies: Hill Fort from Sigma Scrambler week two

TELLURIAN 2.8 CHANGELOG

NEW MODELS:
-Snail (Remaster)

MAP CHANGES:
-Maya modified to make mid a bit less powerful
-Viridis Ravine starting hench and impass map fixed
-Glacier spawns altered
-LBFrank Custom Maps 2 are compatible again!

BALANCE:
-Anglerfish no longer gets charged twice for flash
-Costs for deflect modified; high-level deflect units are cheaper
-Special case for flying deflect added
-Speed is now slightly more expensive
-Cost exponent at levels 1, 2 and 3 changed to 1, to decrease spam cost. Base level costs adjusted accordingly
-AA towers now have 30 sight radius and do 12.5 damage per tick for 4 ticks (up from 10)
-Horns is now minimum level 2 (was 3)

QUALITY OF LIFE:
-Gyrocopter multibutton position altered to avoid overlap with stat display
-Several creatures modified to correctly play sound effects
