This update does not have the new events Total Warlord created yet.

This is a balancing update since on my campaigns, events were still triggering too much.

Any event with a VAR CHANCE of 40 or higher was dropped by -10

Any event with a VAR CHANCE of 40 or below was dropped by -5

All rounds until next category was raised 5. (Most went from 11 to 16 or 16 to 21)

All rounds until that same event plays again was increased 5 (Most went from 21 to 26)

Total Warlord updated his mod at the exact same time as I did so unfortunately i missed the new events he/she added.

This adds the events and I had to re do all the tweaks but, it was way less time to perform updates this time since I sort of had an idea of what I wanted.

The gap between the original mod and mine is getting less and less. The main differences are chances an even will occur are very randomized. The rounds until an event can happen again or same category events have also been adjusted.

Still to come, values/impacts of events has not been touched. I had all custom values for many months but i wanted to add Total Warlords new events and start fresh.

Total Warlord has been making some very reasonable/awesome tweaks so i want to test the game before adjusting again

Most of the changes in this update are:

VAR CHANCE of Events triggering very minimally increased.

I completed 10 turns on the previous update and had two events fire.

This was pretty reasonable. This update will allow events to fire off ever so slightly more. The goal is to keep things unpredictable yet fun. This makes sure that 3 years of in game time needs to go by before the same event will fire off again. (15 turns is 3 years, i set to 16)

Events of the same category can fire off every 6 turns or 1 year and 1 turn. I have the durations of these events scaled back so this should hopefully be fine. If one event fires off and last for 3-4 turns, the next event could potentially fire off in the same category at turn 6. This does not mean anything will happen for sure since i have drastically lower chance rates than Total Warlords original mod

UPDATE:

Total Warlord has been busy updating his mod with new events and altering certain values/parameters.

This mod was intended to be a lite version of his mod and still is, but with fewer disparities.

What was modified:

I completely erased my previous version and used his latest update as a template.

Altered all the VAR CHANCE fields to still be significantly less than the original mods values.

I also tweaked the Category until next event fields and the chances of the same mod triggering again

CND Rounds until NEXT: Setting to 16 turns

The duration of 70-80% of the events was also reduced by 1/2. E.x. anything listed as a 10 turn buff/debuff was reduced to 1 year or 5 turns. Anything that was listed with an 8 turn duration was dropped to 4 turns. Anything listed for 4 turns was not dropped as far, only moving it down to 3 turns. Anything that was at 3 turns or below was mostly left alone.

All buff/debuff values are currently the same as total warlords. I started editing but got burnt out as ive been making tweaks for hours trying to figure out what is reasonable to make this a solid lite version mod. I will most likely be updating again after some testing.

Reduced the chances of events occurring by half. VAR chances that were 200 are now 100. VAR chances that were 100 are now 50. Anything already at 50 was not reduced

This mod already reduces the chances of events occurring by 1000% or more so the main mod is quite high on chances an event will occur. This lite version aims to keep things slightly more.

Also the amount of bonus or negative consequence from the even is drastically reduced from the main mod.
