Safe Mode Enabled:

Due to the recent game update, the Economy Mod is currently in safe mode. This means that only the core aspects of the mod, such as the economy data and XP progression, are fully functional.

Limited or Disabled Features:

Some features of the mod may be limited or temporarily disabled while we work to ensure full compatibility with the new game version. These features may include:

*Other non-essential gameplay tweaks

Restoration of Features:

Get ready to haul through the summer! We've transitioned our Dynamic Cargo Rates (DCR) v2.2 system to reflect the summer months for seasonal cargo. This means demand and rates for certain goods will now align with summer trends.

*Recommended Player Settings:
For typical summer rains (June-August), we recommend setting your in-game rain probability slider to 30-50 percent.

*Seasonal Weather Probability Update:
Summer (June-August): 50% (Peak Thunderstorm Season)
Summer is the peak season for thunderstorms across much of the United States. This setting reflects that, providing a higher probability of encountering thunderstorms during the hottest months. A 50% setting indicates a significant chance of thunderstorms, mirroring the increased instability and moisture in the atmosphere during summer. Be prepared for potentially frequent and intense thunderstorms during your summer travels.

Prepare for an even deeper dive into realism with the latest update to our Dynamic Cargo Rates (DCR) feature! We're thrilled to announce the integration of sophisticated new multipliers that will make your trucking experience in American Truck Simulator more strategic and dynamic than ever before.

Previously, DCR adjusted rates based on seasons. Now, we're taking it several steps further by factoring in crucial real-world logistics:

🚛 Trailer Type Influence:

Your choice of trailer now directly impacts your earning potential! We've implemented new multipliers for:

Dry Van
Reefer (Refrigerated)
Open Deck/Flatbed Different trailer types come with different costs and efficiencies, and our system now reflects that in the rates you'll see. Hauling a specialized load on an Open Deck will feel distinct from a standard Dry Van run.

📊 Load to Truck Ratios (Demand & Capacity Simulation):

This is a game-changer for simulating market dynamics! Cargo rates will now also react to the "load to truck ratio" for each trailer type. This ratio reflects how many loads are available compared to how many trucks are seeking them.

High Ratio (More Loads than Trucks): Expect higher rates as demand outstrips capacity!
Low Ratio (More Trucks than Loads): Rates will decrease as carriers compete for scarce freight. This means the market's current supply and demand for specific trailer types will directly influence your profitability.

Why This Matters for Your Hauls:

This update introduces a profound new layer of strategic decision-making. You'll not only consider what cargo is in season, but also:

Which trailer type offers the best return for the current market conditions.
When to specialize in a certain trailer if its demand-to-capacity ratio is high.
