Version 1.2.1 has been published to Stable tModLoader v2024.12

Added low detail versions of certain visual effects that may have affected performance for some players. To use the lower detailed versions, select a quality of "Low" or "Medium" under video settings ingame.

Nerfed Evil Eye and fixed description - Attack speed bonus for extra copies reduced from 10% to 5%, and the stack cap actually was only increasing by 1 for extra copies, not 2.

Buffed Antique Lens - Main attack size increased from 10% to 15%.

Stim Pack now has some visual feedback.

Paladin has a new trick up their sleeve in Ruined Moon.

Enemy location arrow now adjusts its position if the enemy is close to the edge of the screen, and the arrow is no longer hidden behind tiles if the enemy it was associated with was behind tiles as well.

On-hit item effects no longer have slight damage abnormalities when interacting with enemy damage reduction.

Introducing the Lunar Gambit Update!

Added the Lunar Gambit, an item which allows players to loop. It summons a portal after the defeat of the Moon Lord, and upon touching it, you will be transported to another world, with more items and enemies to find.
How do you get this item? Try sitting down in the Lunar Sanctuary, while enveloped in darkness...

Added 3 elite enemy types, found after looping:
-Tainted
-Slugged
-Burdened

Added 2 new items:
-The False Sun
-Puppeteer's Hand

Hovering over item basins in the Lunar Sanctuary now displays the description of the item you will get.

Added Sunny Day, a super easy difficulty, "for when it's really needed".

Improved Backup Dagger. Current stocked daggers are now displayed above the player's head, all daggers are now thrown in under half a second, and daggers attempt to slide off of walls instead of immediately stopping upon hitting walls.

Attack Plan and Stim Pack can now activate during escape.

Halved Jet Leg cooldown and increased Jet Leg dash speed

Reworked Giant Bat AI.

Buffed Slime AI (They can now deal with some elevation).

Buffed Undead Sharpshooter bullet damage by 50%.

Nerfed Shadow Caster.

Added a secret ending(?)

Retaliatory Fist resprite.

Adaptive cannon tile collision hitbox no longer scales with projectile size. The hitbox for striking enemies still increases, it just wasn't fun to have your projectiles hit the floor so easily after increasing your projectile size.

Changed the way Adaptive Rifle interacts with bullet spread.

Select important projectiles are deprioritized for being replaced when the projectile cap is reached.

Remedial Tapeworm internally no longer uses projectiles for its functionality. It still works identically, it just doesn't hog projectile slots.

Slightly edited a certain vertical crimson room to be easier to navigate.

Pumpkins can no longer spawn on the surface if it is Halloween season.

Fixed the ghost often not appearing in the player's death animation.

Fixed a scenario where if the player had something enabled which played a blinking noise in the final few seconds before respawning, it would cause the blinking noise to play every frame while dead, causing excessive ringing.

Introducing the Arsenal Update!

Added new starter weapons - 4 new weapons, adding up to 6 total starter weapon options. You can choose 1 ranged weapon and 1 melee weapon on the character creation screen.
New weapons include Spear, Cannon, Dagger, and Rifle.

Amber Ring tweaked - Previously, gain 5 barrier melee hit. Now, the barrier gain amount starts at 2, but the barrier gain amount is affected by melee weapon charge multipliers. So for example, at base a sword hit will now grant 2 barrier, but if the sword is fully charged (4 times damage), the sword hit will now grant 8 barrier.

Queen Bee swarm attack lasts for 40% less time.

Various item resprites.

Fixed some potential minor melee attack offsets that arose from projectile update ordering.

Fixed a bug where if you let go of attack after firing a ranged weapon, you would experience the full item animation time again. For example, if you let go of attack before another bullet would have fired from the gun, then you experienced the full weapon lockout equivalent to how long the weapon animation would have lasted.

Some main menu UI elements attempt to move their position relative to vertical resolution to avoid overlapping UI elements on smaller resolutions.

Fixed some rope related jank.

Prevented Clingers from spawning in a specific small room.
