Mechanic
-Let it drain: added new advanced tools recipe unlocks.

Engineer
-Lightning wizard: added new advanced tools recipe unlocks.

Advanced tools have an attached status monitor or electrical monitor, as appropriate for that tool. They have been patched to work with neurotrauma & NT cybernetics. Place above cybernetics in the mod load order for the correct recipes, but they will still work if placed below cybernetics.

Removed more unnecessary talent overrides from unchanged 1.0 talents, so that they are automatically updated if vanilla 1.0 talents change.

Added some code to modded talents from 1.0 vanilla talents that changed. Most notably fixing captain's "Figurehead" talent discount not applying to sub upgrade shops.

If anyone notices anything that broke, in particular with the removed overrides, please let me know so I can fix it.

Reverted captain's 1.0 "emergency maneuvers" to the old "evasive maneuvers"

Added exp gain when applying commendations from old "Trusted Captain" to 1.0 "Commendations", and adjusted exp given to captain to be slightly more than half of the commendation exp

Added exp gain when applying medals from old "Esteemed Captain" to 1.0 "Figurehead", and adjusted exp given to captain to be half of the medal exp. Also reverted medals to be given in addition to the commendations from "Commendations", instead of replacing them.

Removed unnecessary talent overrides from unchanged 1.0 talents, so that they are automatically updated if vanilla 1.0 talents change.

Fixed mechanic's "oiled machinery" talent throwing an error when purchasing it.

Fixed mechanic's "berserker" having added foolhardy tooltip, but missing the foolhardy effect.

Added 1.0 "buzzing" and "cruising" talents to the engineer's general talents.

Medical Doctor
The chemist tree has always been underwhelming and disappointing, so I made room for a new combat & rescue tree. The old xenologist tree was restored if anyone wanted it, and chemist was still included as well.

Xenologist - Genetics
Mostly unchanged, restored some old talents stuff.

  1. Added 300 mark gain on genetics refine/combine from old "Research Grant" to 1.0 "Gene Harvester"

Doctor - Medical buffs
T2 changed, most other stuff just moved around.

Chemist
Unchanged and included for your access if you want. "Lab Contracts" and "Delivery System" were included in general talents.

Xenologistold
Unchanged and included for your access if you want. Most of this tree is useless with the almost complete removal of alien artifacts. "Double duty" was included in the first responder tree.


Engineer
Mostly restored old talents and shifted things around between the general talents and subtrees.

Weapons Engineer
  1. Added hardened tools recipes from "Heavy Hitter" to "Military Applications"
  2. Old "Arms Dealer" replaces 1.0 "Arms Race" | "Heavy Hitter" removed
  3. restored "Expanded Research" | Restored "Castle Doctrine" | Removed "Weapon Artisan"
  4. Restored old "Nuclear Option" alongside 1.0 version of it

Electrician
  1. Changed "Grid Maintainer" repair speed -> 15 electrical skill bonus
  2. Restored old "Minor in Mechanics" plus 50% mechanical device repair speed | Restored old "In the Flow", increased buff to 100% repair speed bonus for 10 seconds, added +25% swim speed to the description (it was always a hidden part of the old talent, just never put in the description. | Battery quality increase moved into general talents

  4. 30% slower electrical device deterioration from "Better Than New" added to "Lightning Wizard"

Physicist
