Quality of Life:
- Tooltips that tell you, how much literary, musical or painting tradition you need will show you the current amount you have.

Fixes:
- Paleontologists now need the Paleontology Tech instead of the Modern Archaeology Tech to be promoted.
- Fixed the Zoo extension Alert.
- The Mental Asylum can be constructed again.
- 0 old children no longer gain the athlete trait.
- If you are on a Expedition to Assyria, the button will now correctly show the Assyrian icon.
- You will no longer be able to overtake a ghost in the endurance race.

Update 2.3.6 "Ferrari"

Races:
- Added Race Circuit Building with 3 Production Method Groups.
- Added Streamliners Tech.
- Added new Character: Racer.
- Added random City-to-City Races from the invention of the Combustion Engine until the introduction of Grand Prixs.
- Victory chance depends on Racer values, like traits and experience. Game creates value for racer raliability, racer safety and racer speed.
- If speed is higher than safety, a fatal crash can occur. If speed is higher than relibaility, a breakdown can happen. Racers without crash or breakdown are qualified to win a race; fastes racer will win city-to-city-race.
- Added new Character: Mechanic.
- Mechanics are available when a Race Team was founded. Race Teams also adds the possibility to improve Race Car.
- Race Car can be improved in three areas: Motor (Reliability), Safety installations (Safety), Body (Speed). Every area has a maximum of four levels. This values are considered Mechanic values.
- Added Grand Prix Races. This is an advanced form of Races. Up to 5 (in some cases: 6) races can be hold in a year. Grand Prix Victories give prestige.
- The first five countries with Race Circuits have the chance to become Grand Prix Race Circuits.
- Founder of the AIACR has always the possibility to declare an owned race track a Grand Prix Circuit.
- Grand Prix Races are hidden races, you get a notification when your driver wins/arrives. Only the host of a race gets a special random event.
- Victory chance depends on Racer values and Mechanic values.

Rapanui:
- Rapanui people will not starve to death.
- Added Moai as a Monument to Rapa Nui.
- Moai will make Rapanui people survive. Nations with tourism tech can change the PM: Moai will give +10 Prestige, but the survival chance of Rapanui people will be reduced ...

GUI:
- The Vanilla GUI windows now close properly when the Morgenröte GUI is opened.
- Made the buttons of the Physician slightly smaller so the buttons are ordered better.

Fixes:
- Your Physician will no longer suddenly become free if the Germ Theory is proven.
- "World with Santa Claus" only gives 1% Society Research Bonus (instead of 10%).
- Fixed various localizations.
- The Navy Research button should work properly again.
- Promoting a scientist is now only possible if a constructed university has the correct focus. You are no longer able to use the specialization of universities under construction.
- Promoting a artists is now only possible if a constructed arts academy has the correct focus. You are no longer able to use the specialization of arts academies under construction.
- Airline Companies can be established again.

Medicine:
- Free Physician (with surgeon trait) for the first nation which invents Triage.
- Free Physician (with psychiatrist trait) for the first nation which invents Psychiatry.
- Free Physician (with epidemiologist trait) for the first nation which invents Quinine.
- Free Physician (with military physician trait) for the first nation which invents Modern Nursing.
- If your physician has the biologist or microbiologist trait (which is rare, but not impossible), he may invent a yellow fever vaccine when searching a treatment for this disease. Be careful, however, this is a risky thing and may end in disaster.
- Added Achievement: A Biologist's Job?
- AI will use Medical Research, Medical Techniques, Military Medicine and Medical Expansion from now on.

Psychiatry:
- Physicians with Psychiatrist trait can found a Mental Asylum.
- Added Mental Asylum building with PMs based on psychiatry/psychology techs.
- Characters (politicians, rulers, agitators) with psychological afflictions, addictions or dementia (senile) can be commissioned to the Mental Asylum. This may cause a bit uproar, but not as much as exiling them (they ARE mentally ill, after all).
- Rework of Treatment Success chance for treating psychological affliction, opium addiction, alcoholic, shellshocked. Asylum, Asylum PMs and Psychotherapeutic Points play a major role.
- Introduced Psychotherapeutic Points (PPs). PPs can be gained monthly having a psychiatrist, psychiatric/psychological technologies or a mental asylum. They can also be gained via event. Maximum: 1000 PP.
- Added four different Psychological Schools via Journal Entries. A country can only found one school. To get one, you need a psychiatrist, the right technology and PPs.
- With a certain amount of PPs, your chances for a psychological treatment success rises.
- Added 10 psychiatry/psychology events, including one for Denmark with Kierkegaard.

Spanish Flu Rework:
- Spanish Flu is now a harvest condition like every other disease.
- Spanish Flu spreads automatically, no spread events.
- Added Game Rule for Spanish Flu:
- a) Dynamic Flu: Will start between 1905 and 1920 in an industrialized country. Named after origin country.
- b) Historical Flu: Starts in 1918. Gets the name Spanish Flu.
- c) No Flu: There will be no pandemic.
- Spanish Flu will not have waves, but is a constant condition which may stay 60 to 100 weeks.
- Government Response (now: Pandemic Policy) is done via Physician GUI instead decisions.
- Pandemic Policy is active until you change it; however, you only can change it after at least 6 months.
- Pandemic Policy needs Central Planning tech.
- Lockdown costs 10 authority for each state, measures cost 5 authority for each state.
- States with measures/lockdown have the chance to gain the "pandemic fading" modifier after some weeks/months, depending on harsher or milder modifiers.
- States with a "pandemic fading" modifier have a chance to lose the Spanish flu condition earlier.
- Having high health care insitution (>=4), high medical techniques tier (>=6) or a famous physician will give a higher chance for the two events mentioned above.
- If the country has a physician, he can try to fight the pandemic and lessen the impact, or research the pandemic.
- Possible outcomes of pandemic research: Discovery of the Pathogen (only with biologist!), Disocvery of the origin, Treatment, Description or nothing.
- Anti-Mask League can be discredited only with an experienced/famous Physician and Germ Theory.
- Added Achievement: The Pathogen of Pathogens.

Characters:
- Added DNA to more characters.
- Added Philosopher Trait for Characters.
- Added Psychologist Trait for Characters.
- Added Physicians for Sweden.
- Added Gustaf de Laval as potential engineer for Sweden.
- Updated character information for Swedish rulers.

Quality of Life:
- Technology tooltips now show you the tooltipable technology.
- In the Medicine window it is now indicated whether you have the technology required for the treatment or not.

Changes:
- Scania has now a (normal) Formation, representing Kristianstad Basin.
- Added Grey's adjustments for oil, electric and chemical company, adding synthetic oil and synthetic rubber factories.
- Added some electricity as a requirement in some Observatory PMs.

Cultures:
- Cultures modified in Morgenröte now use a slightly better mix of hair colors, hair and beards.

GUI:

- Added various rankings to the academic rankings. You can change between them by clicking a button in the tooltip window.
- The Alerts work again.
- The Community Mod Framework is now required. A window will inform you, if you do not have it active.

Fixes
- Physicians should not research different descriptions and treatments at once.
- Fixed locs using diphteria instead of diphtheria.
- Plague should work as intended now.
- Polio should work as intended now.
- If the Morgenröte Button somehow gets removed, it will get added back after a month.
- Various small loc fixes.
- Pathogen and Vaccine Clues should now be visible and not stay at 0 no matter what you do.
- Events with exploding mines will no longer remove all the mines and instead add some negative throughput.
- Edison can no longer spawn as a politician, so you won't have two Edisons anymore.

Hotfix 2.3.4a "Behring"

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with Medical Treatment being possible without Physician.
- You can no longer conduct medical expeditions to your own country, as that is too close.
- You can no longer conduct medical expeditions if you don't have the correct technology or if you already found a treatment.
- The yellow fever treatment now works correctly.

Map:
- Diseases no longer use the same map texture as droughts.

Update 2.3.4 "Behring"

Medical Research:
- Added 7 possible diseases to research when doing Medical Research.
- Possibility to get Vitamins Tech when examining rickets, pellagra or jod deficiency.
- Examining Syphilis or Kidney Stones will help to treat characters with such traits.

Medical Expansion:
- Added one possible event for each physician specialization.
- Added events for Lombrosism.

Epidemics:
- Health Care Level 1 is needed (instead of 2) to prevent smallpox.
- It is possible to eredicate smallpox. To achieve this, every country needs the smallpox vaccine and at least Health Care Level 1.
- Activated Diphteria.
- Added Events for Diphteria Description and Treatment.
- Diphteria is the last Epidemic.

Economy:
- Added rubber as a potential luxury good for rich POPs.
- Synthetic Rubber output increased from 60 -> 90.

General:
- Morgenröte is now compatible with the Community Mod Framework.

Red Cross:
- Conventions can become binding Conventions if the majority of the Great Powers and 65% of the Red Cross members adopt them. Players get a notification event.
- Binding Conventions will be automatically added to all Red Cross members. They can not be abolished. To get rid of binding Conventions, a country has to leave the Red Cross.
- Red Cross gives -5% Attrition Risk instead of -2.5% soldier mortality.
- First Convention -5% Battle Casualties instead of -10% War Exhaustion because of Casualties.
- First Convention gives -5% Offense Mult instead of -3%.
- Second Convention gives 10% unit recovery instead of 5%.
- Second Convention gives -5% Carrier Offense Mult instead of -2.5%.
- Second Convention gives -5% Dreadnought Offense Mult.
- Second Convention gives -5% Battleship Offense Mult.
- Great Powers are less eager to sign the Second Convention until they have a certain amount of infamy.
- Great Powers are less eager to sign the Third Convention until they have a certain amount of infamy - or a rival uses chemical weapons.
- NOTE: You only get your infamy and relation bonus with other members when actively signing a Convention. Getting it when it becomes binding only gives the modifier, not the one-time-effects.

Subject Interactions:
- Geological Team. With a Geologist, you can send an assistant team to a subject country, searching for formations and caves.
- Uranium Team. With a Geologist, you can send an assistant team to a subject country, searching for uranium. You'll need Modern Physics.
- Medical Treatment Team. With a Physician, you can send an assistant team to a subject country, sharing your disease treatments. This will lower liberty desire. You'll need Civilizing Mission.
- Medical Vaccination Team. With a Physician, you can send an assistant team to a subject country, sharing your vaccine treatments. This will lower liberty desire. You'll need Civilizing Mission.

Character Treatment:
- The character Treatment does no longer require your physician to not be busy.

Epidemics:
- Activated Plague.
- Third Plague wave will start in the 1890s in East Asia.
- Added Epidemic Events, Description Events and Treatment Events for Plague.
- Plague is the only Epidemic which may lead to finding the Pathogen when searching for a Treatment.

Fixes
- Fixed a starter effect problem giving the smallpox vaccine to too many countries.
- Fixed Red Cross Game Rule localization.
- Airport improvement project should only work for airports again.
- Custom element names should work everywhere now.
- The fraudy Piltdown man should no longer spam events.

Characters:

GUI:
- Reworked how the GUI works, you shouldn't notice anything.

Update 2.3.2 "Nightingale"

General
- Reworked Academic progress effect. You will get much more academic progress in events and after researching all techs. Except some cases in chemistry events, a small bonus will be 30, a medium bonus 60 and a large bonus 90 academic progress.

Red Cross:
- New action to found the Red Cross as an international organization.
- The founder of the Red Cross gets the HQ of the Red Cross as special building in his capital.
- Added new building: HQ of the Red Cross (+100 diplo action, +10 prestige).
- Other nations can join the Red Cross via action, giving a special modifier.
- Members of the Red Cross can sign up to three International Conventions, giving a bonus on prestige, soldier mortality and infamy, but a small disadvantage for military units.
- Added an event vor Switzerland to create the Red Cross historically after 1862. This should accelerate the foundation.
- Added a game rule to deactivate the historical event, so the Red Cross can only appear by action.
- A special event may trigger which gives you a free physician when losing a battle and being a member of the Red Cross.

Medical Techniques:
- Added new Action: Medical Techniques.
- Physicians can improve the Medical Techniques of a country, depending on medical tech. There are seven different tiers of Medical Techniques. Each tier gives a better modifier.
- Skill and Traits of a Physician are important for the progress of the Medical Techniques JE.
- Added 10 possible Medical Inventions when doing Medical Techniques, like Blood Types, Chemotherapy or the first Transplantation.
- 6 of the 10 innovations can be gathered on a Medical Congress.
- The first nation which introduces a Medical Technique or discovers a Medical Invention gets also Medical Prestige.
- Some Medical Techniques and Innovations have an effect on (surgical) Character Treatment, like Anaesthesia or Chemotherapy.

Military Medicine:
- Added new Action: Medical Techniques.
- Military Physicians and Red Cross medics can add new advanced military mobilizations, called Advanced Medical Support. This new military mobilization group has three tiers.

Epidemics:
- Added Treatment for Measles.
- Added Treatment for Scarlet Fever. This is straight forward and has only three events.

Engineering:
- The Irrigation System now uses the total levels of agricultural buildings to order the states in the new GUI window.
- Replaced the jobseekers in the Irrigation system GUI with available arable land.

Olympics:
- Added new building: HQ of the International Olympic Committee (+100 diplo action, +10 prestige)
- The founder of the IOC gets the HQ of the IOC as special building in his capital.
- New action to usurp the presidency of the IOC when the HQ of the IOC is under control. Only possible if there is no president.

Sweden:
- Added new swedish politicians and engineers.
