Engineering
- All Engineer Types can research technologies in their area of expertise
- Civil Engineers can be focused on a project to improve the infrastructure of your country or to improve your construction sectors.
- Mechanical Engineers can focus on a project to develop new locomotives which improve your railway buildings or a project to improve your industrial and ressource buildings
- Military Engineers can focus on a project to unlock new mobilization options.
- Electrical Engineers may join the Magnetic Association and build a Geomagnetic Observatory (PM).
- All Geomagnetic Observatories will send magnetic data to Göttingen. If there are enough observatories and enough data, all member states will get a tech boost.
- Hannover (Göttingen) starts with a Geomagnetic Observatory.
- Iron, lead and oil deposits may be found via magnetic data, giving mines and oil rigs additional trhoughput (one time event for each).
- Electrical Engineers may build a Telegraphy Network, activating the Telegraphy Office PM in Railways.
- Electrical Engineers may build Radio Stations, activating the Radio Station PM in Railways.
- Added Transatlantic Cable JE and Transatlantic Transmission JE.
- Added some random events when building Geomagnetic Observatory, Telegraphy Offices or Radio Stations.
- First Nations that invents Electric Telegraph gets an Engineer. If the USA invents Electric Telegraph first, they get Samuel Morse.
- Aeronautical Engineers can focus on a project to unlock new mobilization options or a project to improve your airports.

Monuments
- Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty and Big Ben will now have events, JEs and a building decision. They now function like other Morgenröte monuments.
- The way monument building cost is calculated has been radically changed, resulting in a drastic cost reduction to bring the value of Vanilla Monuments and Morgenröte Monuments into line.
- The prestige that a building gives is now directly related to the construction costs. (Construction costs of 1 million pounds translate to around 10 prestige - the Eiffel Tower costs around 10 million pounds and therefore gives around 100 prestige, to give an example)
- The Cologne Cathedral gives 150 instead of 100 prestige.
- The Vienna Ringstraße gives 80 instead of 75 prestige.
- The Palacio de Bellas Artes gives 55 instead of 50 prestige.
- The Mole Antonelliana gives 45 instead of 50 prestige.
- Renamed Big Ben to Palace of Westminster.

Changes
- Magnetic Data may be collected on Pacific Expeditions (Magnetism and Anatarctica Events).
- Moved Radio Stations PM from urban Center to Railway.
- Electric Telegraph is now an era 2 technology (instead era 3).
- Reduced the diplo cost drastically for Excavation License, Paleontological License, Botanical License, Mountaineering License and Airspace to 5.

Fixes
- Children might like to play with balloons, but they should no longer become balloonists at birth.
- Secessionist countries will no longer be in the top ten of the best countries, just because they inherited musical tradition and astronomical objects from their opressors.
- Additional Funding for scientists will no longer cost a fortune and throw smaller countries into dept.
- The AI now only throws money at scientists when they ask, if it actually has enough money.
- The Morgenröte Mobilization Options should now have better matching colors.
- Wait, that's a Sealion? I thought it was a Zebra! Why did the Tooltip say it's a Zebra then?
- Engineers now get a trait for an invention if they do not have it yet. E.g. an aeronautical engineer inventing steel frame buildings gets the civil engineer trait now.

General
- Changed Excavation Modifiers, Animal habitats, Caves and Mountains from normal modifiers to state modifiers.
- Added a Tooltip to see what influences the amount of Academic Progress.
- Changed animals in Zoo to icons for a better overview.

Archaeology
- Excavations established by foreign nations may be looted if occupied by a warring power. This can also affect third parties. The plundering country receives a few artifacts, the affected countrys do not receive any annual artifacts for three years.
- Added five random events concerning donations from IGs.
- Added four random events about popular society beliefs on archaeology (Egyptomania, Mayanism, Panbabylonism, Atlantism).
- Added three random events concerning the Archaeological Museum.

- Added event "Fate of Lucca": when the ruler of Parma dies, the ruler of Lucca will become ruler of Parma. Lucca will become part of Tuscany. Will only happen if all three states exists, Parma is a monarchy and Lucca AI.

GFX
- Changed building icons for Museum, Observatory, Opera and Zoo.

Fixes:
- Fixed various localization errors.
- You should get Academic Progress from Events again.
- Archaeological Expeditions do no longer make yourself mad or happy (fixed relations with owner country changing when you are the owner country).
- Archaeologists gain experience when establishing an excavation.
- Players should now have more than a day time to start congresses, if they are waiting for the global variables.
- Fixed various Alerts.
- Level 5 Schools now grant a total of 3 Academics Progress.

Archaeology:
- A new adventure on Easter Island including a whole event chain.

Mountaineering:
- Added 23 specific mountains to climb instead using Mountain Ranges as state modifier.
- Diplomatic Action: Mountaineering License allows climbing mountains in other countries.
- Changed prestige modifier and scientific bonus for mountain peaks.

Sports
- The first nation to research organized sports and have an academic can revive the Olympics. The country retains the presidency of the newly formed International Olympic Committee (IOC)
- Any recognized country that has explored organized sports and whose infamy score is not too high can join the IOC as a regular member and take part in the Games.
- The IOC Board of Directors is elected every four years. The board selects one of the IOC member countries as the host country for the next Games. Usually the first Olympic Games take place in Greece.
- Should Greece revive the Olympic Games, it has the opportunity to establish the games permanently in Greece. There is an achievement for this (“Our Games, Our Rules”).
- Athletes have the chance to win gold medals at the Olympics, which give prestige.
- Various sport events during the active Olympic Games.
- Sports Facilities PM for Government Buildings.
- New Character traits: Athlete and Olympic Champion.
- Random events for the foundation of football, baseball and cricket clubs.
- In return, the decision for Greece to establish the Olympic Games was removed.
- Added Option in Sports JE to bribe the IOC to become candidate for hosting the next Olympic Games.
- Added Option in Sports JE to introduce School Sports.
- Historic Football Clubs might appear.

Religion:
- Countries that are not catholic or protestant start the game with a modifier that can be removed with a decision.

QoL:
- Added an alarm for when you can build an observatory or could change to better production methods in the observatory.

Fixes
- Anthropologists can now randomly spawn like other scientists
- Fixed an error that flooded the error log when hovering over the smuggle animal diplomatic action while not having a naturalist.
- Made historical characters actually historical
- Countries no longer require a huge amount of great comets to consider asteroids asteroids instead of planets.
- Countries that get created by an event (like the Paris Commune) now get the variables.
