Update: 9 May, 2023 @ 11:22am

- Updated to Stellaris 3.8

New Models:

- Added a Coruscant texture by author Shiny_Man as this set's City Planet
- Ported the Imperial Shipyard from the Empire ships to be used as this set's Mega Shipyard
- Brought back the Jovan Station model, this time with a hanger shield attachment

Major Changes:

- Added the Edict Add-On option that adds a couple of additional ship sections, and hence ship models, to be unlocked via edict. This allows for all ship models in this mod to be used in the roster and opens up unlimited opportunities for future additions. As of right now, the 9 unused models as well as 2 corvette sections, 4 destroyer sections, 2 cruiser sections & 2 titan sections are added to the ship designer when it is activated.
- Removed all NSC related invisible ship sections and additional model copies that were not used in this edition (but were for the NSC edition), this will basically allow for this edition to be developed more independently from the NSC edition since we now have a way of allowing vanilla players to use all ship models in the mod's files instead of sticking to just the vanilla roster.
- Removed the unused Venator Star Destroyer and it's associated textures, it is an Imperial ship that is hard to associate with the Rebel Alliance anyways
- Removed the unused IPV4 corvette and it's associated textures, same reason as the Venator
- Removed all the unused fighter models and their associated textures as I know that they will never have a use
- Removed the Terra Station model as it will eventually become the Corellian Starbase in it's own set
- Added a localisation file for this mod as it is now needed

Roster Changes:

- The Marauder Cruiser now correctly uses the Destroyer Bow L1 section instead of erroneously being the MC30
- The MC12 is now the model used for the Destroyer Bow M1S2 section, the MC30 (which was supposed to be there) is now part of the Edict Add-Ons still as a Destroyer
- The Viscount Star Dreadnought is now the model used for the Juggernaut, the MC55 is now part of the Edict Add-Ons as a Titan

Minor Fixes:

- Explosion & Weapon locators have finally been added to the Nebulon Ranger since it is now in use
- Fixed shield mesh attachment on the KDY Strike and the Twin-Wing Assault Frigate

Update: 14 Mar, 2023 @ 11:03am

- Updated to Stellaris 3.7

Habitat Changes:

- Habitat models have been reworked, the Outpost Station model has been split into 3 levels to match each habitat tier much like a standard vanilla set.

Removed Models:

- Valor Station
- Jovan Station

Update: 20 Jan, 2023 @ 12:38pm

- Got rid of the misleading credits readme file since now there is a dedicated credits page here on Steam that lists out all the models and their appropriate authors (it can be found through a link at the bottom of this mod's description)

Removed Models: (neither of these were being used anyways)

- Victory Frigate Mk.II
- Twin-Well Immobilizer (moved to the Empire shipset)

Update: 8 Dec, 2022 @ 6:25pm

- Fixed errors related to the lights texture on the Starbase Line
- Removed the wording related to a "working" and "working_looping" animation on the construction ship that does not exist, This should hopefully fix any issues related to the infamous 80% loading crash Mac and Linux users have been getting after 3.6

Update: 29 Nov, 2022 @ 9:14am

- Updated to Stellaris 3.6

Minor Fixes:

- Fixed final explosion locator of the death animation sequences for corvettes and civilian ships
- Removed redundant NSC related weapon locator from the GR75 transport
- Adjusted weapon locators on the CR90 and CR90H

Removed Models:

- Removed CG273 model and associated textures (except for the rebel_CG273_lights_diffuse texture which is used on some other models here), this model is going to be integrated in the upcoming Corellian Shipset

Update: 21 Oct, 2022 @ 4:16pm

Some Hotfixes:

- Fixed incorrect weapon locator names on the Level 5 Starbase model
- Fixed the idle ambient sound for all ships that use the Titan ambient
- Removed redundant wording in the habitat loaders referring to animations that do not exist
- Observation Station now correctly uses the station from the rebel_01 graphical culture

Complete Cleanup:

- Ship death sequence setups have been cleaned up with the removal of effects that do not appear to do anything in-game, these include the "Keep Particle" command for effects and the "Ship Air Vent Particle" effect. Overall, this should make the death sequence setups much more clean looking and easier to customize in the future.

New Models:

- Assault Frigate Mk.I Twin-Wing
Model by Emperor Niko obtained as a free-release from ModDB
https://www.moddb.com/mods/knights-of-the-old-empire/addons/assault-frigate-mk1-tfu-ii-style

- Mediator Battlecruiser
Model by Jeroenimo onbtained as a free-release from ModDB
https://www.moddb.com/mods/empire-at-war-re/addons/one-day-build-mediator-battlecruiser-free-release

Note that both of these models are only being used in the NSC edition of this mod at the moment

Other Changes:

- Added a hanger shield mesh attachment for the Viscount Star Defender (though again... only really concerns NSC atm.)

Update: 21 Sep, 2022 @ 2:20pm

- Basically this update was meant to standardize assets (mostly meshes) between the vanilla and the NSC editions of this shipset. No difference should be noticed besides a slight decrease in the death sequence time of cruisers.

Update: 20 Sep, 2022 @ 11:38am

- Updated to Stellaris 3.5
- All ship meshes have been reworked with new locators for weapons and ship explosions (that happen when the ship is destroyed)
- Added proper invisible weapons meshes for all ship classes where applicable
- Added proper explosion and burning sequences to the death animations of all ships (and even some stations as well), most ships even have multiple variations of such!
- Added engine locators and effects to the GR75 Transport

New Models:

- Viscount Star Defender
Model by Warbnull obtained as a free-release from ModDB
https://www.moddb.com/members/warb-null (note that all his models are posted through his skydrive link on this page)

Note that the Viscount model has no relevance to this specific edition of the mod and is meant specifically for the NSC edition's flagship.

Update: 22 Aug, 2022 @ 10:18am

New Models:

Credits: Vanilla Empire at War, Petroglyph / Lucasarts
- Rebel Starbase Level 1
- Rebel Starbase Level 2
- Rebel Starbase Level 3
- Rebel Starbase Level 4
- Rebel Starbase Level 5
- Laser Defense Satellite

Credits: EvilleJedi
- Golan I Space Defense Gun
- Golan II Space Defense Gun
- Golan III Space Defense Gun

New (Invisible) Utility Meshes added:

- Rebel Starbase Frame (frame mesh)
- Rebel Starbase Section Weapons (locator mesh)

Updated Models:

Model Changes for all models from Star Wars Rebel Ships Legacy
- Reorganized and renamed pretty much all textures (because I like it when things are organized)

Removed Models:

- Basically all of the disused locator meshes leftover from when this mod was created based on the original Rebel Ships mod. None of them worked by now anyways and were not even being used. As with the rest of these shipsets I will soon be creating new locator meshes that properly function with vanilla (or NSC depending on the mod) as I already have with the Starbases.

Additional Changes:

- Standardized all engine particle names as well as the particle file names to be simmilar to that of the Republic and CIS shipsets
- Starbase appearences now uses the new Rebel Starbase Line brought over from basegame Empire at War
- Outpost, Valor, and Jovan Starbases are now used as Habitat appearnces phases 1 2 & 3 respectively
- The former Wormhole Station, now called Observation Station and previously used as the model for the defense platforms and ion-cannons is now used for the observation post model instead
- Defense Platforms now use the Golan Space Defense Gun line
- Ion-Cannons now use the Laser Defense Satellite model
- Added refrence/read-me file for credits of models used in this mod

Update: 8 Jul, 2022 @ 9:42am

Every ship section now has access to its appropriate weapon and strike craft locators, hopefully this solves the problems for anyone who still has issues with projectiles shooting from stars
