v3.20

Buffs:

Nerfs:
Dair Late hitbox damage 6-> 4
Making this move more rewarding to land early by making the early damage better overall.
DStrong Back first hit angle 315 -> 30
Dstrong second hit angle 270 -> 90
USpecial Spring is now destroyed on parry, this prevents a glitch where the spring is perma parried and is also an indirect nerf to the move as it makes the spring a bit more of a risk to place on the stage.
Cyclone is now only polite for the first 6 frames.
Cyclone cannot be air dodged out of the way to avoid the parry effects.

Other changes:
Revamped hit sound design to be solely FP2 hit effects so that its a bit more authentic.

v3.19

Buffs:
Oops, DStrong is still inconsistent due to a typo in the attack script, fixed this and now it can actually kill with the left hair tendril.
Also changed one of DStrong's initial hitboxes to ensure that it scoops the opponent into the cyclone.
Speaking of Cyclone, tweaked its properties when being used as a double jump. You can cancel into aerials from the move again on hit, but not grounded attacks.
Uair movement tweaked slightly, the speed clamp still allows you to hit grounded opponents but you don't lose drastic height during the startup of the move.

Nerfs:

Hits 2-5 are polite again but not hit 1, this means that you can't just throw yourself at opponents at blistering speed in double jump and combo them. This is to make it feel less demeaning to get hit by while also retaining the character's identity. It may well fix a fundamental issue with them.

Changes:

Added to this, marked opponents will be caught in hitstun regardless. Reverting to this as it was kind of the point of
including marking in her kit in the first place.

If Lilac hits an opponent with DStrong while gaining speed with it she will lose momentum to allow DStrong to connect properly. As a result, the move's properties for changing the flipper to 10 have been removed.
DStrong hit 1 Angle 270 -> 225 to make it easier to hit.

Nerfs:

SHIELDS NO LONGER NEGATE KNOCKBACK
Shields no longer gain health on negating status effects and instead lose two points of health
Shields do not negate damage if the damage is 1%, meaning that moves that multihit for 1% damage do not
Moves with 0.9 Knockback Scaling or higher will instantly break shields
Shields now last for 300 frames instead of 600 frames.
Fire shield no longer has chip burn damage, its benefit has been changed to instead reduce the damage of attacks with a burning effect.

Dash Speed after using a Dragon Boost has been nerfed from 13 to 10.5. 13 was way too good, 10 is already faster than base cast, this seems a fair trade-off.
Spring Boosted Cyclones cannot have FSpecial used out of them.
FSpecial Knockback Scaling 1 -> 0.4
FSpecial is no longer a multi hit.
Parrying Cyclone now actually puts her into Parry stun.
You can no longer special cancel Cyclone on hit, it is unfortunately too good in Rivals to be able to cancel into Dragon Boost. You can still special cancel if she hasn't hit anyone with it though.
Cyclone can only be attack cancelled on hit during the first hit (making it just like FP proved to be too good).
All variants of Cyclone are no longer disjointed as her hair is now part of the hitbox. In fact, her hair is now part of all hitboxes on all attacks to avoid disjoint on a super fast character.

Other changes:

Uair Speed has been altered to all be on the hitbox instead of during the startup. This buffs her ability to hit ground opponents with Uair while simultaneously reducing the height she can gain with the move.
Uair's first window has a speed clamp which cannot make her gain height but will retain her falling speed.
Dair reworked to have two hitboxes, the first one is the usual spike but lasts 2 frames, the second one lasts significantly longer. The animation has also been adjusted so that her hair flows quicker.

v3.17

Tightened the ability to jump and special cancel Dragon Boost to only be possible after 9 frames of the hitbox appearing, this is because of how powerful jump cancelling is in Rivals and the fact that she could do it instantly was a bit too good.
Made it so that shield cancelling Dair can only be done after 10 frames of the hitbox coming out or if you have hit.
Edited Dracula compatibility, Lilac's teeth in her angry screenshot have more detail and she now has a voiceline during the final line of dialogue.

Reduced the size of the hitboxes on Jab, Ftilt and Dtilt so that they can't hit opponents behind Lilac.
Reduced the height of DAttack's hitbox.

Fixed an issue online on the CSS where the default portrait wasn't being correctly recoloured (hopefully)

Added Dracula compatibility.

Redid the hitboxes on DStrong again because last patch it broke gamefeel and often would miss the final hit, so split a hitbox into two that sends in different directions to ensure that the opponent ends up in the final hitbox

Lilac's Dragon Boost (FSPECIAL), now loses 1/4 of its speed in hitpause only, allows you to hit multiple times.

Star mark now rotates around opponent instead of just staying above their head (it looks a bit better like this)

Star Mark mechanic has been reworked. Stars now last forever until KO or death, much like Maypul's marking

Cyclone controls have been tweaked. You can now hold up or down during a cyclone to change Lilac's gravity.

High Cyclone (NSPECIAL_AIR out of USPECIAL) has been changed in light of this change so that it can match its previous height.

Rune J reworked in light of Star Mark mechanic rework.

Cyclone (NSPECIAL_AIR) no longer deals polite hitstun, it now once again does damage, but it is unable to KO so cancelling it into a move is still of benefit.

The knockback that Cyclone (NSPECIAL_AIR) does is very low, but to marked opponents it will do more knocback.

Implemented Hyuponia's Changelog Template so that you can view patchnotes in playtest."

Cyclone gravity increased from 0.1 to 0.5

Reworked the double jump Cyclone variant to work more like an actual double jump (and a bit more like the original game but your height is still higher because platfighter). The speed you gain at the start of the Cyclone means that your double jump is actually a bit more than 7 speed worth of height.

You can also hold up or down during the startup of Cyclone to change the amount of height received from it.

Made it so that the boost that you get off the spring from Cyclone is rest by all aerials and not just some of them (oops)

Also fixed it where Cyclone was not resetting values if cancelled

Dragon Boost no longer kills your speed when you enter into pratfall

If you go into your maxmimum speed mode after exiting Dragon Boost, Lilac's sprite will now have pratfall colours for the duration when you can use your moves.

Boosted the speed of springs back to -20 for USpecial
