v2.5

- Added five new Abyss Runes and adjusted descriptions. There's one that makes Dragon Dash fully invincible, one that makes the shields have an additional hit point, one that makes the Wood Shield heal you for more health and one that makes it take less time to heal with the Wood Shield

- Shield effects have received a slight change to account for the Workshop expansion. The Poison effect that was previously on the Water Shield has been moved to the Wood Shield, the reason being is that the Wood Shield in FP is supposed to be the one that protects against Poison. The Water Shield instead prevents Lilac from being bubbled. The Fire Shield now protects against Clairen's Plasma Stun as well as Mollo's gun. Earth Shield finally has crystal attacks to defend against, so the Earth Shield now makes her immune to Crystal Stun. So, when that gets fixed to work with workshop characters, then she has a defence against Olympia and anyone else who may include Crystal attacks.

- In the new DSpecial animation where Lilac is hitting the shield crystal with her hair, there is now a Hitbox at the exact moment that she swings it. The attack's properties are identical to that of Dash Attack.

v2.4

Shields are no longer useless. After reviewing the code behind the shields it became apparent that the intent of giving a 50% knockback resistance wasn't actually coded. I felt that 50% woud be too much but while Lilac has a shield she now has soft armour which is equivalent to the amount of hits the shield would take to break *4. This makes the Earth Shield significantly better and it is no longer a dead shield.

Tweaked the portrait to make it easier to see and less of an eyesore in low res. Will probably make further tweaks to the portrait in the future until I can perfect the idea behind it.

Changed the icon and Kirby ability icon to a nicer looking version that doesn't look so mixely. That's the last inherited sprite now redone!

That's all for this update, no gameplay changes!

Brand new Steam preview portrait which makes it clearer this is the FP1 design while also making it a lot better and retaining some of the original design ideas added.

v2.0

MAJOR UPDATE

A resprite of a Remaster, this has what its come down to. But seriously, she really needed proper Rivals sprites so here we go, Version 2.0 comes with a number of enhancements.

- Every sprite has been redrawn, with 90% of them being faithful to the original mod but with sprites drawn in Rivals style while others have had changes made to them where I felt elements of FP could be incorporated.
- New momentum based jumping, Lilac will now jump further if jumping out of a Dragon Dash or just regular dashing. Cyclone can cancel this new momentum.
- Air dodging, wadedashing and rolling are all now Blink Dash.
- The parry animation has been changed to be more in line with the parry from Freedom Planet 2 but with the original sprite in a similar position. The benefits of drawing the sprites yourself!
- Cyclone has been changed, it now lasts longer and has a floating effect with a slow descent on the way down.
- Sparkle logic has been completely reworked, no longer baked into the actual sprites and tweaked to be done in almost the exact same way as it is in Freedom Planet with multiple sizes for them.
- Cancelling the Dragon Dash now triggers the new Boost Breaker, a projectile that spawns behind Lilac. Taken from FP2, since the Dragon Dash could already be cancelled here anyway.
- Down Special has been completely reworked because Lilac has never been shown to have any ability to summon shields out of nowhere. Instead she summons Pangu, who provides Lilac with a Shield Crystal, Lilac then proceeded to break the crystal with her hair to get the shield.
- Down Strong has also been reworked with an additional hitbox, just to be more in line with jumping Cyclone.
- Any animations which were shared in the original have had additional effects added to them to differentiate them from each other.
- Now compatible with Palutena's Guidance
- Abyss Runes have now been properly implemented and a new Ultra Instinct Rune has been added which makes Lilac incredibly OP
- Kirby now dons Lilac's hair and hearing aids when performing Cylcone.
- Miiverse post has been changed to a much better one

v1.22

Real time frames for Cyclone animation to emphasise the effect even more.

Changed a few colours for some alts, namely the FP2 Lilac and Carol costumes, FP2 now has a darker purple while the Carol costume outfit colour has been changed.

Changed Portrait to de-emphasise mixels as another step towards a future resprite.

v1.21

Made a few animation improvements after learning more about stacking indexes, where they cannot exceed the original index, so improved the Cyclone animation with an additional spinning animation. The sparkle effects have been moved in code so that they can appear in front of the hair in animation and in addition to this all the hair tendril sprites have been reworked to be by themselves unmixilated. In the short term, this will look weird, but a full resprite of this chracter is on the cards for the future.

v1.21

Leftover code from the original mod had the hair animations from walking and running the wrong way round and they didn't play out in full, this has now been fixed.
