Small stat changes and Byzantine "Scout Cavalry" replaced with a new unit, the Koursores are medium shock cavalry armed with composite bows. They are available from Lvl 2 and 3 Barracks and Guard Outposts.

Skutatoi Swords/Spears have also been downtiered and made cheaper with much lower armor stats. Imperial Skutatoi Swords, Spears and Imperial Archers are now unlocked sooner with the "Combined Arms" tech rather then "Professional Soldiers"

Armored Seax Warrior Replaced by the WulfByrnen, recruitable from lvl 2 and up pagan temples for all Germanic factions

New Generals Bodyguard units:

Excubitores, a better spear melee cav for Byzantines

Hillfort Gatesmen, an elite crossbow guard for the Picts

Frisian Nobles, archer/melee hybrid for Westphalia
