Update: 29 Jul @ 1:23pm

V2.2: Mostly a quick(?)fix of sorts to get those pesky werms to behave better, along with some spell balancing and such.

The main thing:
-Werm Suppliments, the artefact that's meant to boost Werm spells by double power, actually works properly now. It should double damage not only to new spells available, but ones you already have too! Werm Stab still keeps its weird quirk, with an updating flavour text to reflect it. Additional effects of certain spells are no longer doubled, or applied 10s of times for that matter.

Spell adjustments:
-Slow Gauge is now obtainable.
-Spell Squeeze damage boost. (10 --> 20)
-Encouragement gives less SP and Defence to enemies and multiplies their XP even more. (2x --> 2.5x)
-beingObj Hits Metal 17 Times now has its name reflect who you're playing as, as well as the flavour text updating under a specific circumstance.

Other stuff:
-Mad World achievement made easier to get. (10 --> 8 enemies). It's still only obtainable in the boss fight.

Update: 13 May @ 6:47am

V2.1:

Little extra update. Can pretty much confirm that there will be nothing major in the future. Unless of course I add a second zone someday (don't count on it).

>>Changelog:<<

New Brand: Werm
-Includes 8 new spells, and the previous relevant spells are now part of this category. Each spell draws power from the werms, a peculiar species derived from a similar creature, through diverting themselves from the strings that guide their fate. They also vary in purpose and strangeness.
-Werm spell text colour has changed to improve readability.
-Werm Supplements artefact supports these new spells.

-KillerBunny no longer uses Dark Execution as one of its attacks. It is now swapped out with one of the rarer attacks from the zone's main boss.
-Bunnies are no longer accompanied by SawBill. Don't ask what those tiny shards of broken glaives are for.
-Forbidden Meteor Strike no longer hurts the user. Figured this was necessary as the detail isn't made apparent through Meteor Storm.
-Sealed Rage now positions you in front of the target, as opposed to the same space.

I think that's all. Hope you enjoy!

Update: 4 Mar @ 8:01am

V2.0:

I thought this would be V3 but apparently last update wasn't big enough? Anyway, this one certainly feels like I did all I wanted to and more! Probably the last major update. Thank you to everyone who helped make this and to everyone who enjoyed playing it!

>>Full(?) changelog<<

Spells:
-Added Anti Damage (finally!), Mirrorball, Crushd Tin Box, Heart Shaped Box, Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and Werm Push. One of these is obtained by mysterious means, which I advise against.
-Meteor Storm's additional spell on Trinity Cast, Forbidden Meteor Strike, can now be cast as a separate spell.
-STOP Beam has been purchased from Kinesys by Hearth. Slight change to the icon to reflect this.
-The Cycle has been changed in how the stronger attacks deal damage. They now scale directly off the initial hits, making Spell Power more effective.
-Wonder Wall has been reworked. The wall now has its own visuals to better differentiate it, has 160hp instead of 60hp and casts Wonder upon being hit rather than being destroyed. It loses 10 Defence on each hit.

Artefacts:
-Added Werm Supplements. That's all.

Zone enemies:
-MonolithBeam now fires beams down at you at a slower pace. The damage and panel break duration might have been reduced, but I'm unsure as it's been a while.
-Darmeijid now has a slight variation to when it'll start attacking. This is to hopefully reduce the noise when there's more than one of the field.
-Darmeijid used to double up on its attacks after a while on higher tiers. This has been reworked so that only tier 4 versions (named Darmeijorlock) can do this, and it takes much longer.
-SawBill's tier 4 version (named SawPhil) has a slightly different attack, that starts off more like Shattersaw than Glaive.
-Werm's tier 4 version (named Y-Verm) no longer throws a carpet bomb at the start of the fight. Instead, it throws an ominous and suspicious looking item.
-Werms are aware of the existence of special food and will be on the lookout for it!

-Merchant's marketable plushie has its battle setup modified. Instead of two higher tier Darmeijid assists, it has one typical level Darmeijid and a STOP. This is supposed to make it not as bad but it might be about the same.
-Merchant's marketable plushie's Link inflicting attack has a new visual, to make it more clear.
-Merchant's marketable plushie now has a status indicator to make it more apparent that it has Trap Card.
-Bunny now made friends with a SawBill for some reason.
-New midboss. True Quarreling! I'm so sorry. :<
-Seriously though since you're reading this, I mean it as a serious word of caution when I say that this thing's tier 4 variation is not to be taken lightly. Consider staying clear of the midboss zone if necessary!

Boss:
-Various adjustments to a few timings of things here and there which I can't really list off.
-Laser attacks now have proper warning panels to indicate them in advance.
-Inverter is used a bit less at lower tiers.
-The boss now has 3 extra attacks it can only use at low health. Revenge Burst, Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, and Explosive Frost Needle. These naturally come with spell combos that become naturally more fierce with the boss difficulty.
-Tier 7's ending surprise now works much better than it did before, with more attack variety within it as well.
-Ending animation actually plays. Pacifist run ending also altered so that it actually does something.

-Boss's gun-wielding assistant has had its artefact changed to Multi-tool instead of Micro Missiles. It can also now use Ambient Burst.
-Boss's musician assistant has a new attack - Detune Beam.
-Boss's merchant assistant no longer summons sniper assistants of its own.
-Some boss assists have had their timings altered. They are normally slower to act when more summons are present and now there are less exceptions.

Misc:
-2 new pacts have been added, Sell Steps and Sell Cotton.
-8 new achievements have been added, viewable in the Stats menu. Good luck getting them all! ;)

I think that's all. Hope you have fun!

Update: 28 Feb, 2023 @ 11:10am

V1.2 Changelog:

Quite a few updates in this one and I can't remember each little detail, but here's most of it!

-Boss now gets progressively more aggressive with pacing as the battle nears its end!
-Slightly increased boss HP.
-Various tweaks to attack timings, damages, etc., along with effects of the tiers.
-Tier 7 now correctly adds a nasty surprise to one if its attacks.
-Tier 7 also adds a nasty surprise near the end of the fight, which almost works properly. Honestly, just avoid Tier 7! (._.')

-Most enemies have had a major HP upgrade! I realised they were too frail, so now they put up more of a fight.
-Slightly reduced rewards from enemies. Still plenty, so don't worry!
-Various tweaks to attack timings and damages and whatnot.

-2 new spells added!
>The Cycle - Draw upon the power of surrounding "Werms" to attack!
>Sealed Rage - Slashfik - 2x3 Slash attack at each enemy!

This might be the last update, at least for a while. Unless a hotfix is needed soon. Hope you enjoy!

Update: 16 Jul, 2022 @ 8:25am

V1.1 Changelog:

-Darmeijid at Tier 4 (Darmeijorlock) doesn't use its meteor swarm twice at once now. Moves around a little faster as its way of separating it from the lower tier variants.
-Werms are slowed down a little, and don't get much faster on higher tiers.
-The boss now has an assist for your future battles if you spare them! Their attack nerfs a target's power and defence, and removes a buff.

Update: 15 Jul, 2022 @ 8:33am

Oops, hotfix lol

-Stopped SawPhil from doing an infinite, like Dark Shattersaw used to.

Update: 15 Jul, 2022 @ 8:09am

V1.0, first public release.

About 97% complete. To fix:
-Get Anti Damage and The Cycle working properly.
-Fix various enemy animations.
-Make the boss's Tier 7 secret actually work.
