I made all my weapons, classes, and prefabs with a theme. That theme was not "old-timey prospector". I wanted an all-around tool for digging, building, and fighting, but with a more militaristic feel. In real life, that's called an entrenching tool. It's a small folding shovel with a hard edge for creating defensive embankments or impromptu body modification. Pretty nifty.

In game terms, it's still a pickaxe. Decent all-around stats, no specialty.
