Update 1.3

The final update to our Middle Ordovician roster is here! We bring you two new animals, a cephalopod and a coral with multiple brightly colored variants.

New this Update:

A member of the tabulate corals, Favosites is occasionally known as honeycomb coral for its hexagonal pattern. Present through a multitude of eras, this will be a staple for reef exhibits throughout the Paleozoic.

And finally, we have the giant orthoconic cephalopod, Endoceras giganteum. Our scientists discovered during recreation that this species was indeed a large plankton feeder and had an array of cilia adorning its arms to filter plankton out of the water. While the specimens we will be providing aren’t the biggest from the fossil record, they will be a challenging animal to keep!.

As well, the update includes the following fixes:
*A number of typos in animal descriptions

Update 1.2

We are happy to announce a second Chelicerata member being added to our collections as well as a new trilobite!

New this Update:

A small pelagic trilobite, Symphosops had partially fused eyes that looked like a visor, giving it a wide range of vision.

The oldest known of the eurypterids, Pentecopterus was also one of the largest and one of the largest arthropods to have ever lived. Though here at Artificialis, we will not be providing animals based-off the largest specimens out of safety concerns.

As well, this update includes the following fixes:
*Added the Other Animals tag
*Isotelus Rex model scale is now accurate to the MQ scaling standard

Update 1.1

Much of our efforts have been spent preparing the animals for our upcoming Silurian Collection, but we did manage to recreate one new species this week for your aquariums.

New this Update:

A relatively large trilobite, Bumastus has been extrapolated and fabricated. This genus was present into the Silurian and will fit with community tanks from that era as well as the Ordovician.
