MUSIC
We just updated the music files adding Indian music. This mod's soundtrack will be moved over to Warbirth 2 later on.

FILES
No changes, but Rise of the Barbarians is complete. That means we need to move over files from Kings & Conquerors 2 over, and then begin adding Warbirth-type units to this mod.

What do we need?

- Techs, buildings - move over from Swords of the Prophets.
- Units - keep as they are but move over unit-graphics and unit sounds over.

GREEKS

- Mainstream Greek units need to be dealt with first. This means building both Sparta, Epirus and Larissa together, and building a Mycenaean buildset for Low Greek factions.
- Egypt. Top priority.
- Persians, Indians, Yuezhi. Only buildings need to be fixed especially since Sino-Indian buildings are absent from Kings & Conquerors.


FORSEEN PROBLEMS

- The building system used in New World Empires is very different to that used by Kings & Conquerors. The biggest problems like in moving over the Library and the Senate systems from KC2 over to this mod but it should be doable.
- almos_22 needs to be trained up to check and code buildings.

SOME THOUGHTS

- Build the building_graphics file of this mod first. Then concentrate on the techs. Check the xls file for instructions.

FEATURES

- 24 completed factions featuring different playstyles - fight for glory and freedom with the Greek city-states, or take over the role of Alexander's foes, by choosing to overwhelm your rivals as the Achaemenid Persians or simply just drive them into the dus tbefore you with the ferocious Celtic hordes!

- More custom units, with many new models and animations.

- A more variegated and complex mercenary management system. The Outpost isn't the only player in town.

- Aggressive gameplay. Barracks and Hovels can be built right away without the need for "teching up".

- Morale and information warfare. The LOS of most buildings and mercenaries is drastically reduced, making spies more useful. Professional units have higher LOS, while levies are almost deprived of them.

- Seventeen wonders chart the birth of the Western world as a global force on the fate of humanity.
