Function flipped from a pure whitelist to automagically handling breakthroughs with a blacklist for breakthroughs and a whitelist for non-breakthroughs. weee.

Fixed not changing difficulty variants, resulting it it only working on vetran.
The logs should now indicate that it's changing 5 diff variants - the basic version, and 1 for each of the 4 difficulties.
