Final update for W2.
Norsca and Bretonnia may no longer sign NAP. Traditionally, the two are mortal enemies and will go to extreme lengths to destroy the other.

Thank you to every one who has subsribed to this minor mod. It isn't to everyone's tastes, and I am sure that there are plenty of things others would do differently, but I wanted to mould W2 a little closer to how I remember from the earlier editions. I will be bringing this mod forwards in to Warhammer III as soon as possible, so keep your eyes out! There will be no further updates to this mod, unless something has gone terribly wrong with this minor update. Take care, one and all!

Updated for 'The Twisted & the Twilight' DLC.

On request, Prince Imrik of Caledor can now ally himself with the Bretonnians. This is to reflect his closer relationship to the peoples of that land, set distinct against his Elven compatriots.

Afternoon all.

I have pushed a small update with a couple of minor changes.

- Skaven can now ally with Dark Elves.
- Dark Elves can now ally with Norsca.

- Removed Morathi's faction diplomacy rule to ally with Norsca, now the Dark Elves as a culture can do so. Morathi still has unique faction diplomacy rules to ally with Chaos and Beastmen.

- VC can invite, and ally with, Greenskins.
- Skaven can ally with Greenskins.
- Greenskins are unable to return the offers, the they are too busy krumpin' Gitz to realise that they are being manipulated.

As mentioned before, I will continue working on some larger changes with the diplomacy system and cultural relations over the coming month. Hopefully I can look to releasing that alongside the next CA update, although I may temporarily trial it out in it's own distinct mod instead.

Any problems, let me know!

Skaven can now ally with Chaos and Norsca.
Chaos can now ally with Skaven.
Norsca can now ally with Skaven.

Skaven previously could not offer NAP to other Skaven groups. This has been reverted to vanilla, I felt that the buffer is sometimes required for gameplay despite their perfidious and untrustworty reputations.

TEB and Kislev can now offer NAP to Skaven and Greenskin. This was reverted back to vanilla as again, I felt that they also required a buffer. Skaven and Greenskins cannot offer NAP back.

I was going to add the extra cultural relations table in with this update, but desire to test it further before adding it in.

Update.

As previously said, I have finally found the time to properly arrange the module to my liking. The relationship values should now be correct for all cultures and factions.

Each entry contains a source and a target, and whether or not this relationship works also in reverse. The default in W2 is 'Source' ---> 'Target', and as such there were fringe cases where the relationship did not necessarily work in a mutual way. This has now been changed so that 'Source' < --- > 'Target', and consequently has tightened the relationship table and cut the number of entries by half.

I can now spend more time working in unique faction relationships over time.

Azhag (Bonecutterz) now works correctly.

Thanks.

Minor fix for Eltharion's faction key.

Azhag is now able to invite to war, trade with, and ally with Vampire Counts and the Tomb Kings faction 'Followers of Nagash'.
This applies both ways. This is due to the necromantic influence of the Crown of Sorcery.

Skaven had some inappropriate trading relationships. This has now been changed to match prohibited NAP cultures.

Grom the Paunch and Eltharion the Grim can never sign NAP.
Being a Goblin of immense greed, Grom is also able to sign the same Trade Agreements as Skarsnik.

Updated.

---

With consideration given to the forthcoming DLC, and a couple of other ideas floating around, I have removed the restriction of internal wars for both the Dwarves and the High Elves. Currently, only the Lizardmen are unable to war within their own race - it is the design of the Old Ones.

High Elves have had an extension to their 'Non Aggression Pacts', and now cannot sign them with Chaos or Beastmen, as well as Skaven.

I have also fixed several boolean expressions. I noted that several of unique relationships for particular factions (Cult of Pleasure / Nagarythe) were not applying correctly. In short, they were applying from source to target, but not also target to source. I am generally fastidious and methodical in applying relationships, and they should all be functioning correctly as designed now. Over time, I will steadily work my way through the structure of the mod and remove all unnecessary relationships. Instead of two lines expressing 'X' cannot attack 'Y', and ''Y' cannot attack 'X', I can instead choose to express this in one line with a change in boolean value.

Have fun, and do let me know if any thing seems amiss.

Completed the internal restructuring of the module. This is in preparation of future DLC, and with a mind to clean up the existing module.

I will amend the front-end description of the workshop page shortly with a full account of the diplomatic relationships between the races and some individual factions. It is also worth noting that this is my own personal mod, and that I am likely to make amendments based on my own interpretation of the Warhammer Fantasy world.

Thanks for your patience, and apologies for pushing out a broken version for two days!
