Update 1.13 - FINAL VERSION (all updated flags are now in the screenshots)

-- communist Baltic Union/Ostland (to be more distinct from the base USSR flag and not use any national colors that were used in the post-1953 variants of SSR flags - the inspirations for the new flag were the soviet navy flag (color variant), pre-1953 Latvian SSR flag (hammer and sickle shape), and post-1953 Estonian and Latvian flags (baltic waves)).

Ethiopian flag rework (see screenshots for more details)

As part of the update Regnum Bospori and Axum flags were replaced based on their Rome:Imperator counterparts:

These flags are still fictional, but I felt that designs from Imperator:Rome were better that the ones from HoI4.


... AOI's emblem on the neutral version of the flag was also significantly downsized to be more realistic.

hotfix for small Ostland flags

Ostland cosmetic tag formed by fascist Latvia will now use Baltic Union set of flags as default

hotfix: fixed a bug that prevented unique Italian civil war flags to be visible (vanilla flags we're tagged as RSI and RDS instead of ITA_RSI and ITA_RDS)

hotfix: neutral and default flags of Afar will now be completely red to properly represent Sultanate of Aussa at the beginning of the game

By Blood Alone DLC update - almost 200 new flags included

Polish flags update:
- Revolutionary Poland will now use a reworked flag with St. Mary emblem (M+) and 12 stars instead of full St. Mary flag (hopefully it's less weird than the previous one and will look Polish enough in case where Poland stays Revolutionary until the end of the game). The general design of the flag is still based on St. Mary's cult in Poland and uses it's colors in the design.

- Poland-Romania flag rework - the new flag is completely original and based on the Austria-Hungary design. Hopefully will be more realistic than the previous, more modern version.

CoA mods were also updated to implement these changes.
