  • Fixed a bug that caused ammo to be deducted from gmDoom weapons when pressing the reload key.

  • Implemented experimental fix for DirectX 8 users. NOTE: Because textures must be built with a much slower, alternate method, it will take much longer for textures to finish building in DirectX 8 mode.

Miscellaneous
  • Implemented experimental detection of material system reloads. When gmDoom detects that a material system reload has occurred, it will trigger texture rebuilding automatically.

  • npc_helicopter should now be vulnerable to damage from doom weapons and monsters.
  • Defined fallback texture for the DOOM HUD borders when using DOOM 1 based IWADs.
  • Objects which are missing sprites now display a specific error message, informing the user that the addon could not find an installed IWAD, or that the IWAD in use does not provide assets for that object.
