The "Pitboss" is an updated version of my "Toybox" ship, and with much the same design philosophy. It is meant to be a small carrier, capable of asteroid mining, and is meant to be up-gradable as needed. Ramps are controllable by switches, and it has a rear airlock room that can be used to house spare dirt bikes and house a teleporter if needed.

For defensive and offensive capabilities: I have placed three cannon turrets, but the ship is easily able to carry moderate to heavy weaponry, with the removal of the antennae you could also install pulse or missile tubes for more direct combat. Several hardpoints have been marked as recommendation.

I have not tested this design in PvP, but it works very well in solo play and was primarily designed for PvE with up to three players.
