KP Support Altis

Opis
Gametype: Ground Support
Players: 1 - 16
Blufor: NATO
Opfor: CSAT

Description:
In this mission, game mode "ground support", the players take the roles of helicopter pilots tasked with supporting ground units. The playing field includes the two bases of each factions, as well as a total of 10 sectors. From these faction bases ground units are always on their way to independently seize control of those 10 active sectors. The players are there to support the groups by answering requests for transport, air support or medical evacuation. These orders are dynamically generated during the game, which means that no round compared to another is completely equal. This is accompanied by immersive radio traffic.

The mission ends as soon as one side has no more tickets remaining. These are reduced when helicopters crash or the opponent controls at least 6 sectors. In the event of a helicopter crash, the player can respawn at their respective base, where after some time the helicopters reappear. The base also provides landing sites to repair, refuel or rearm the helicopter during the mission. Players are actually restricted to their role as pilots and can only leave the vehicle within their own base, for example, to switch to another helicopter. This also means that players themselves cannot take any sectors.

Each side also has a Jet in their base. This won't respawn, so it's a high valuable asset with which you can interrupt the enemy supply lines.

You can adjust parameters in the lobby for the daytime, weather, tickets count and view distance.

There are 3 kinds of infantry troops which will ask for support:
Ghost (4 soldiers)
Nomad (8 soldiers)
Hydra (16 soldiers)

Playable as SP (via local LAN MP), COOP or PVP.

Anyway to save my progress?

Woops, my bad. I thought this was KP liberation.

Saving is done on a continuing basis. And it's not in a regular save because apparently the amount of data cannot be stored reliably in it. So they make use of another file in your (user/server) profile called the .vars.arma3profile file.

But why saving the game is not allowed and there are no autosaves either? I'd really like to be able to save the game once the shit really hits the fan and combat begins, because what usually happens now is you get to replay the beginning of the mission just transporting troops over and over. Any chance of this being changed?

you could execute "skipTime X" via the debug console.
X -> Number of hours to skip, like "skipTime 14".
Or you edit the missionfile in the editor.

Is there a way to play your missions at night? I would love to play each of these as night operations!

As the Apache is from RHS, you need to look on their support/documentation/controls how you can disable their additional HUD elements.

Hey bro, im big fan of yuor work :) I have a question, how can i disable the hud in the apache and the double cero numbers in the screens and sides of the chopper, bc having the entire game the hud, its very annoying, thx in advance!

Like I wrote in the RHS version comments:
It's the normal "ground support" behaviour concerning sector capturing. And if the units won't capture sectors, it wouldn't be a good Coop or SP experience.
