Quite a few times playing this version of the game I've found myself needing a specific control and totally confused about what it could possibly be, frantically tapping miscellanous keys and freaking my computer out, and unable to open the FF6 launcher whilst playing the actual game - so it's for this reason that I decided to make an easy-to-reference guide listing all the controls.

Here are the default keyboard controls, taken from the launcher's manual.

Here are the default controller settings (I used the diagram from the manual PDF for this so that you can easily see the layout of the controls).

Just an extra note: If you are remapping controls, avoid changing 'enter' to a letter/number/symbol key, because if you do this, every time you confirm a character name it will always add the mapped letter/number/symbol to the end of the name.

That's how I ended up playing the entire game with Terra named "Terraa". Don't be like me.
