The Definitive Source for Legendary Lord's Quests
By Kratosirving
After buying TW: Warhammer when it first came out, I played for a while and stopped but than picked it up again about a year later. As I was getting back into it, as I went through Grand Campaign after Grand Campaign I kept having one thought: I wish I knew what the next step in each quest chain was!

After spending some time looking for a guide that would have these answers, I was surprised to find that after a year since TW: Warhammer had been released there was no guide that listed the steps in many Legendary Lord's quest chains, let alone all of them. The best I could find was a list of Chaos' and Mannfred's quest chains, which I have admittedly taken without testing for viability; if there are errors please do correct me. :)

After stewing for a bit in frustration that there was no such source to use for myself, I took up the task of creating a guide that I would like to use myself to know what step in the chain will be next, and perhaps work toward it in order to not burn so many turns shuffling a certain number of a certain type of unit to my LL's army, or have a Hero closer to the region he would need to deploy in. However, this guide is merely meant to showcase each step in the chain, not provide every answer. Each Grand Campaign has variations to it of where one's position is each time, so there's little point in listing which enemies to make, whom to make friends with to get to where you need to be. That is up to the player. To sum things up...

What this guide DOES cover:
- The steps to each quest chain for every Legendary Lord in TW: Warhammer, including the DLC factions and Legendary Lords.
- (IMPORTANT NOTE: This guide DOES NOT cover all of the variations that many quests can have. For example; in one playthrough, one of Vlad von Carstein's quests wants him to occupy Essen, while in another it could want him to occupy Bechafen. Both settlements are in the same province, and appears to be the general rule of thumb for many quests that tell you to occupy specific settlements.

What this guide DOES NOT cover:
- What to do if the quest aborts and glitches up to not provide a replacement; An unfortunate bug that has persisted, don't know if a fix for it will ever present itself.
- The alternate steps that appear for some quests if you eliminate the faction(s) you were meant to be the focus of that step in the quest chain, such as defeating 'X' number of Greenskin Tribes but they've been eliminated before you could finish the step.
- Help you win Quest Battles; It's a TW game, you have to think of how to win it yourself. :)
- The quest chains in the Beastmen/Wood Elves mini-campaign; At least as of this first draft, I might do it after the Grand Campaign listings are complete for all factions.
- Any errors that might arise because of mod conflicts; I haven't had this happen to me yet, but I'll list it anyhow just in case.

One last bit; if the text in a step says 'province', it means in the whole place where it can be any settlement. If it says 'region', it is referring to the particular area around said region; for example, moving a Hero to Grunburg if the quest said move a Hero to Altdorf would NOT complete the step in the quest. Same meaning revolves around the distinction between 'Move to' and 'Deploy', or 'Lord' and 'Hero' and 'Any character'.

Grombrindal's Armour 4th step just says "move any character to Middenland". You don't have to deploy a Thane

Да, но за них тоже дают фиолетовые шмотки. Разница только в том, что они не привязаны к конкретному лорду.

Это не полный список заданий. К примеру, у Зимнего Клыка есть и другие цепочки заданий, дающие уникальные предметы.
