No one is saying it's less efficient than farming. It's just that I had to farm everything except emeralds at one point or another, mostly due to crafting relics, legendaries, and high-tier components (Haunted Steel etc.). So if someone for whatever reason doesn't want to craft some dynamite, they can look up the guide. Moar options = moar better.

Hardly. Yes, you can craft it but what if you're running low on Searing Ember/Scavenged Plating/Aether Shards? Been there, done that. Also, if someone is running through those areas but doesn't quite remember where are the spawns, a quick look at the guide sorts it out. I'd say it's better to have more resources online if possible. ;)
