To properly break a hut requires much time. Breaking them usually provides alot of resources because people use them to hide their belongings. Expect to find chests, beds, and other things people think are safe inside their huts.

You can use a variety of weapons to break huts, the worst being the axe, and the best being the Crown, or other end game weapons.

Depending on what weapon you use, the time to break the hut is about 15-5 minutes. You will know you are breaking it when a sound and animation is played. The hut will also become darker as it gets closer to dying.
