Profit
Earn money buy doing quick jobs, get around $120,000 and level up your profile.

Do skills, drive all of the trucks to see which one you like most.

After you get around $120,000, go to a truck dealer (discovered in towns) and read some more of this.
Buying Your Truck
Go to a truck dealer. Normally there are 2 different kinds of trucks you can buy, choose which model you prefer

for DAF, i recommend the XF 105. for Scania, i recommend either the R 2012 or the new S series. for Volvo, FH16 all the way!. for Renault, get the crap out. for MAN, there is the TGX and TGX Euro 6 TGX is nice for nostalgia, TGX E6 is good for eco driving. Iveco, ONLY buy if you have engine upgrades. Mercedes Benz (formerly Majestic), i recommend the older one cause it is cooler to me. as always, thats just my opinion, you may state yours too!

Now, click "Customize Configuration", this brings you to making your own truck.

If you have enough money and XP, get a bigger cab.

Don't mess with engines unless you have more money to spend and more engines unlocked.

Transmissions, get the medium sized one for your truck if you are running more that 400 HP in your truck..

Now, you may put bull bars, mirrors, interior parts, and other stuff on your truck to personalize it.

Be proud of what you have made, make anything how you want.

Now, click "Purchase". this will buy the truck.
Driving and Getting Used To Your New Truck
now, get used to your truck, look around, see how it sounds, see how the horn sounds, and just in general look at your truck that you should be very proud of.

now, you are not gonna get a job, your just gonna go around town a few times to get used to your brand new truck.

now you have officially gotten your own truck! congragulations!

now you can tell your friends how proud you are and show them your truck!
Last Section, Choosing Jobs
now, go to your "jobs", and click the new open tab "freight market", you can also do the External Contracts through "World Of Trucks" if your profile is connnected.
Set off in your new truck! upgrade it when you get lots of rewards and soon it will look like some of mine! (see my profile screenshots)

This guy knows it. I have 500 hours in this game on steam plus however many from the 3 years I owned it outside of steam, and most of my trucks are your basic every day truck with 400 horsepower and a 4x2. Call your riced truck and matched trailer cool all you want, but after some multiplayer sessions, most of the time my basic Ivecos and Renaults do a much better job at the task than homeboy's fully loaded Scania. And that isn't a joke.

The truth. When building this or a business. You want to start off with "FLASHY FLASHY BLING BLING"! Don't. I'm a trucker, not a Sim Trucker. Unless you want to have your head over a barrel with the bank. Buy the cheap at first with some horses under the hood and a good transmission and tires. That's it! All that Chrome won't get ya home. With your new ride, you won't have problems pulling those heavy loads up hill or stopping. This truck will start adding the $$$ up and then you can either upgrade or buy another truck. You may find that as your $$$ is building up, that you need to hire another driver. Do the same thing here too. In the real world, the customer of brokers don't care how much chrome you have, or how long your rig is. They want you to deliver the freight, that's it.
