Supercarrier

This mod adds a SUPERCARRIER unit.


SHOULD BE COMPATIBLE WITH BNW, G AND Ks, AND VANILLA

A Supercarrier is a very expensive unit that allows you to use your airforce abroad. Supercarriers can carry up to 14 fighters (it cannot carry bombers or stealth bombers) and requires 1 Uranium to build. Make sure you have other naval units protecting it as it is still relatively vulnerable alone.

-- YOU NEED TO START A NEW GAME FOR THIS TO WORK --
Go to MODS --> Activate this mod --> Play the game with the mod.

This works with GODS AND KINGS. (It MAY work with Vanilla Civ 5, I am not sure . Why don't you try it and if it does work, then mention it in the comments).

IF YOU HAVE A MAC, THIS MOD WILL OR WILL NOT WORK. But TRY IT ANYWAY as according to aluevano79, this works on MAC.

If you want to modify the attack, etc, of the unit, (after subscribing and downloading the mod) go to
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Supercarrier (v 1)\Units

Then open CIV5Units_SuperCarrier.xml with notepad. Modify as you wish.

You cannot upgrade a carrier to a supercarrier.

There is already a supercarrier unit by whoward69 and also one in the American Dominion mod by Envoy but I wanted to make my own with a greater fighter load. Historical info from Wikipedia.
