DIY FIX TO SLOT MACHINE DISAPEARING:
Use console command:
c_spawn "slotmachine"
and it will appear right below where your mouse is. PLEASE NOTE! THIS IS NOT DELETABLE AS FAR AS I CAN TELL! I do not recomend placing it at base, pk, or any other "landmarks" as it may interfere with base building. Maybe portal if it poofs from there, but otherwise be very careful. If you do not know how to use console commands, there are tutorials out there, I've just been using them lately for when bugs occur from playing with too many mods lol.

if the slot machine is set on center and theres water where it spawns its non functional, you can put in dubloons if you can reach but it wont give anything

Experienced the issue same as someone else where updating portal to a new kind when it spawns at portal makes it dissapear off map. Changing the setting after world generates doesn't seem to fix it either :'( Can you make it craftable somehow to avoid this issue? X2 PLEASE or tell me how to avoid that bug, mooving the slot machine to random location or center of the map doesnt fix that problem :(
