I'm not sure. I haven't noticed any drops. Maybe on a weak system.

The game stretches some textures, it's based on the map settings, which I'm pretty sure cannot be changed for this mod. I'm not sure why it doesn't affect the default textures so much though. Some areas have different scaling than others, which affects the look of the textures.

They look good, but as previously mentioned some of them look too stretchy, but not everywhere

I added some comparison pictures. I'm not 100% impressed with it yet though, so more changes could be made later.

I used Hammer to look inside some maps, and I can see that in some areas, the textures are indeed stretched out more than others. The scaling is the same, but the sections are different sizes. Reducing the scaling in the large areas resulted in a far better appearance. Unfortunately, I cannot mod these changes into the default maps.

when you use a texture mod or a whatever I can't remember how to id it but you can change all the textures to be color co-ordinated and you can figure out which one is the ugly one,theres literally some textures stretched to fit like 12x12ft squares

I think the game handles them inconsistently. in some places, the textures are stretched out, and in other places they aren't. I think this can cause ugly textures in places, and seems like a map issue. But this is just guesswork.
