Workaround fix for the blur.
By Father Doug
This is a simple workaround to increase the sharpness of the game and get rid of some most of the blur.

Reshade
So we will be using reshade with sweetx. I will be linking the download from my onedrive, just click download on the link and then copy the contents of the folder to your game install location where the .exe file is stored. For most people it will be C:\programfiles(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\nex machina.

Once you drop the contents in that folder you're good to go. You should get some text in the top left corner when you first run the game telling you the effects have been loaded.
You can press scroll lock to toggle the effect off so you can see the improvements.

If you wish to tweak the sharpness some more then go to the sweetfx folder and open sweetfx_settings.txt. Near the bottom of the text file you'll find a setting called Lumasharpen. I have it on 5 but you can increase or decrease it to what you want. This can be done whilst the game is running so you can see the change happen in real time.

Link to reshade file with my settings.

@Skillful Chicken Well, may have been a bug. Maybe I'll give it another go in future. I'm on a laptop running win 10 with MX150 and a Kaby Lake :steamsad: (7200U).

@Ontanium That's pretty strange.

Sounded kwl until it wasn't. My game won't work now. Hopefully just remove the files and it starts again. If I get it running in future I'll take this down , until then it was a failure for me.

p.s Perhaps my system, it is a bit iffy with different games. Runs some higher end games when some lower ends are (even with fixes) unplayable. Running MX150 in an Acer laptop.

Summoning devs to implement this in game asap!

@h13.Bishop No problem, happy to help. Remeber you can tweak the effect too to increase or decrease the sharpness.
