For me this doesnt work with the ultimate mod, it says was expecting 3E but found CC instead

i just checked back in with the ultimate mod - but it seems the dev has updated the game and has specifically said it isnt compatible with the patcher? and i notice they hav updated the file to download, so im grabbing that version and seeing whats going on, something for tomorrow

one person said they came across an error, but i did not - maybe because i was also using the splitsecond ultimate mod (found here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2095797546) . this mod, completely replaces the original exe to unlock all dlc and tracks. and then i patch that new exe with a newer patched exe

this worked fine for me, to a repeatable degree - though doing this corrupts your save file (though the mod i linked also provides a new save for you to use if you do not want to repeat the campaign)

this is not a mod but a patcher, meaning it generates a 2nd .exe named splitsecond-patched
and yes, you should:tm: be able to rename the original exe to splitsecond-old.exe and the new patched exe to just splitsecond.exe (or whatever the original exe's name is) this way steam launches the game normally, but in 60fps

@ICEHITMAN correct, the game without any alterations is capped at 30fps and will have issues if you force it higher without the patch
