Introduction (Sovereign Theme)
Greetings! Welcome to my guide for Nefarious in which I will tell you how to collect every crown and vinyl in the game. Included in each section will be a short video of the level showing how to collect 100% of the collectibles in case you prefer to follow video guides. A quick note though, these videos are 100% individual level speedrun videos, hence why they're so short despite showing you how to collect the collectibles.

This guide will be written in level unlock order, assuming you're starting a new game (however a new file is NOT required to get the 100% achievements) and each level is written in the order of which you can collect the collectibles. Each new vinyl you play at the jukebox gifts you 200 Lucre.

In order to help you find which vinyl's you're missing you can refer to this image of a full jukebox:

I'm including Sovereign Theme here because it is unlocked by default and it will NOT give you 200L for playing it on the jukebox.
Macro City (Crow's Theme)

S-Rank Time: 04:00

Crown 1

In the first half of the level, shortly before the garage with the glass roof that Mayapple will complain about if you break it. Simply jump at the side of the platform to collect the crown, you don't need to land ON the platform to grab it.

Vinyl

Shortly after the first crown you'll find an electrified floor on your left with a Taddlebot walking backwards and forwards through it. The electricity will instantly kill Crow so DO NOT KILL THE TADDLEBOT. Instead, jump on it's head and ride it through the electricity. Once you've grabbed the vinyl simply ride the Taddlebot back out of the electricity and continue to the next crown.

Crown 2

On the loooong lift after the SWAT van boss and you acquire the grenade launcher. Simply stand on the right side of the lift and you'll grab the crown as you rise up the tower.

Crown 3

Just after the previous lift you climb the side of a building slightly, passing a policeman, taddlebot and flying sentry. The crown is atop the Swell Hotel sign. Just jump into it to collect it, no grenade jumps required yet.
Sovereign (Turn-Based Tussle)
Simply send the lift up and then jump off it. You can then drop down the lift shaft and grab the vinyl! No pictures for this one, just a short video.
Insektia (Thorax Waltz)

S-Rank Time: 08:30

Crown 1

Near the start of the level you punch through some purple blocks to gain entry to the palace, the crown is almost immediately after these blocks. You can grenade jump up to the crown or use the conveniently placed grenade bubble on the right.

Vinyl
Multiple pictures for this one!

Just before the giant wheel you will need to climb some grenade bubbles.

When you reach the top of this climbing section you need to turn left.

The vinyl will be waiting for you across the floating platforms over the lava pit! Once collected, turn to the right and continue past the giant wheel.

Crown 2

After you grab Princess Apoidea and just as Crow's asking her what a thorax is (it's totally the butt by the way), you will come up against some more purple blocks! Either grenade jump up to the crown or destroy the second from bottom block and use the hole as a platform to jump from and grab the crown.

Crown 3

After the gauntlet where seemingly endless waves of enemies attack you, you are forced to climb the tower by jumping on some fans. On the right hand side of this tower, about halfway up, is the crown! Try to get boosted up by the fan just below the crown and be moving right as soon as it boosts you.
Winterdown (Winterdown National Anthem)

S-Rank Time: 06:30

Crown 1

Kind of hard to miss this because you have to kill the dwarf to proceed. Simply jump on top of him and he will bounce you up to the crown. On patch v1.0 the dwarf does not have a shield so you need to grenade jump to get the crown.

Vinyl

Before the fight with Dr Mechano you will find a room with lots of grenade bubbles.

Chain the grenade-bubble-jumps up to the top and you'll be rewarded with the vinyl! It can be very easy to accidentally miss a bubble and fall down to the bottom so just keep trying.

Crown 2

Immediately after Princess Ariella captures you. Can be very easy to miss as there is a checkpoint very shortly after this crown.

Crown 3

This crown can appear impossible to collect at first since you are forced to run past it.

Jump at this wall just after you see the crown and it will turn you around, allowing you to collect the crown with no further jumping required.
Sukochi (Song of Sukochi)

S-Rank Time: 08:00

Crown 1

Possibly the hardest crown in the game to collect. You need to fire a grenade forwards at about a 45 degree angle, jumping on it at the last moment, launching you across the chasm. I highly advise watching the linked video to see the angle required.

Once you land you'll find the crown and a chest directly ahead of you. Don't be put off if this crown seems impossible to get, with a bit of practise you'll be able to make these long grenade jumps without even thinking about it.

Crown 2

After the gauntlet of Man, Man will give you a letter for Becky and you'll be sent down a lift which will in turn deposit you into the ninja corridor. Immediately after this corridor (before getting onto the next lift), use the grenade bubble to jump over the spikes to the left and collect the crown. Simply destroy the purple block to drop down safely and continue onwards.

Vinyl

After grabbing Prince Malachite you will eventually reach this point, where you can go up towards spikes of death or down past some fairly benign cannons. Go up and past all the spike orbs to reach the vinyl.

The light-blue barrier is one-way so if you miss the vinyl and go straight through the barrier then you'll have to go around and pass through all the spikes again! Once you've grabbed the vinyl you can pass through the barrier and walk down the gentle slope, then drop down and turn right to continue on your way.

Crown 3

Just above the very last cannon in the level. Can be very easy to miss as you don't always climb this high (after all, there are spikes there!). You can aim your magma-grenade carefully and time your run carefully to avoid taking damage here. If you reach the section in the following image then you've gone too far and need to turn around for this crown!

Heartless Abyss (Heartless Abyss)

S-Rank Time: 08:00

Crown 1

This one is easy to spot, hard to collect without taking damage but you have a LOT of health in this level so just grab it and move on. If you really want to avoid damage then move towards the crown just as the eel is about to retract back into it's hole.

Vinyl

Not too long after collecting the previous crown you'll enter this rather recognisable room, the vinyl is in the top right corner of the room AFTER this.

Simply follow this path up and around to get the crown then backtrack after you've grabbed it.

Crown 2

Not much further on after the vinyl you'll find this sunken ship. The crown is directly above the center of it.

Again, follow this path up and around to grab the crown then backtrack to continue the level.

Crown 3

Right at the end of the level! Just grab everything in the room.
Sovereign (Treachery)
Vinyl
The Treachery vinyl unlocks in the jukebox when Crow orders that Mayapple be locked in the brig before Adept Co. Labs. I've also been told that this vinyl can unlock when you speak to Mayapple in the brig rather than when she is imprisoned there.
Adept Co. Labs (Academia)

S-Rank Time: 09:30

Crown 1

When you reach the section with the spinning planets, climb on the earth-like planet and ride it around in a circle to collect the crown, all while avoiding getting knocked off by the moon!

Crown 2

In the section where you have to let the fans underneath blow you upwards as they slowly move sideways. At the very top and middle of this room you will find the second crown with another chest!

Vinyl

One of the easiest vinyls to find, but probably the most difficult vinyl to collect on your first playthrough. Grab Farrah Day and continue moving to the right.

Before you even think of jumping on the red platforms, jump down the hole. No, I'm not kidding. It won't kill you, despite how much your gamer instincts are telling you to avoid pits in a platformer. When you reach the bottom of the pit, head left (if you haven't unlocked Cackle's Lab yet then make sure to grab all of Farrah's sisters at the end of this corridor! You'll be needing to head to Cackle's Lab to collect all the vinyls/crowns!) and then once Farrah has finished talking to you, head up.

From here you can grab two chests and the vinyl! Keep climbing and you'll be back to where you found Farrah to begin with.

Crown 3

At first glance it looks like you need to ride the Taddlebots, just like you did in Macro City to get the vinyl. However, climb over the glowing balls to the other side of the pit....

Tadaa! The third crown! The spike balls don't kill you instantly so you can just jump down and grab the crown without fear of death (unless you're at low health of course, in which case just ride the Taddlebots).
Sovereign (WYDASV?)
The soundtrack for Would You Date A Super Villain is unlocked in the jukebox automatically after completing the WYDASV? segment after Adept Co. Labs.
Villain Museum (Boss Music)

S-Rank Time: 02:00

Crown 1

Immediately after landing, head left over the purple blocks and into the water.

Not too far into the water you will find the first crown and a chest!

Vinyl

In the first room that Ben shows you. The golden vinyl is just a jump away!

Crown 2

In the same room as the golden vinyl! Also just a jump away!

Crown 3

In the second room that Ben shows you, hidden in the purple blocks. Break the blocks at the top of the screen and jump onto the platform to collect the crown. Don't break the purple block on the floor until AFTER you've grabbed the crown!
Farrah's Folly (Bonus Round)

S-Rank Time: 06:00

To unlock this level you need to speak to Farrah Day on the Sovereign after completing Adept Co. Labs.

Crown 1

Almost immediately from the start you will find this crown on a ledge above you. You can grenade jump up there or use the grenade bubbles on the right.

Vinyl

Once you reach the moving platform grenade jump on top of the purple blocks....

....and continue to the right until you reach the vinyl! From here we want to backtrack slightly.

Crown 2

Stand on this exact block as seen in the image here. This is just a short distance from where we grabbed the vinyl. Now destroy the block you're standing on and let yourself freefall. Don't worry, you won't die.

Instead you'll land here! Crow is stood exactly where the crown would be in the above image.

Crown 3

Continue until you see the last crown above you. This is arguably one of the hardest crowns to acquire. You need to grenade jump up to it without falling in the lava. For this, I use two grenades as you can see in the linked video.

Alternatively you can use sticky grenades, I'm told they make this crown much easier but I personally have difficulties using them. As the the creator of Nefarious tells me: "Just stick on the floor at your feet, and the second one on the bottom of the wall to the left of the crown and double jump up to it."
Dr. Cackle's Lab (Failures)

S-Rank Time: 06:00

If you haven't yet unlocked this level then go back to Adept Co. Labs and collect all 3 of Farrah Day's sisters! Once you've grabbed them you can talk to Mayapple on the Sovereign to unlock this level.

Crown 1

Once you reach the electrified stairs here with the Taddlebots, the crown is on the platform above you.

You can either grenade jump off the Taddlebots or double grenade jump vertically to the platform.

Crown 2

During the section with Walk Friend you are required to jump off him and do a quick bit of platforming. As such this is hard to miss, however it is immediately BEFORE the moving spike balls, so if you see them then you've gone too far.

Vinyl

At the very end of the moving spike ball corridor just below the grenade bubble. Again, this one is kind of hard to miss. If you reach the third crown then you've gone too far!

Crown 3

Do I really need a screenshot for this one? It's stupidly difficult to skip this crown since v1.1.
Rattletrack Rails (Tumble Gulch)

S-Rank Time: 07:00

Crown 1

Behind a cannon on the side of the train after the first checkpoint. It is possible to skip this crown as you need to jump to collect it. The cannons take 3 hits each to destroy.

Crown 2

Behind the dynamite thrower. They take 9 hits each to destroy.

Not very easy to skip this one as it's so low.

Vinyl

Again, behind a dynamite thrower. Not very easy to skip as it's so low.

Crown 3

On top of the dynamite thrower's halftrack. Again, very hard to skip it.
Bramble Flats (Tangled Knots)

S-Rank Time: 06:00

Crown 1

Almost immediately after starting the stage you will reach these trees. Climb them.

You need to grenade jump off the top tree to reach this crown.

Vinyl

Immediately after meeting STABILE you will start to find destroyed pieces of the Sovereign and some purple blocks. After destroying the first row of blocks you'll find yourself at the location in the above picture.

Jump across the gap and jump over the destroyed Sovereign parts to collect the vinyl. It looks like you can't go through that terrain but believe me, you can. Once you've grabbed the vinyl just walk right towards the purple blocks to continue with the level.

Crown 2

This one is difficult to get. You need to be fast as the Sovereign is sinking in the tar pit. The route I recommend is to grenade jump onto the small black platform directly to the right of Crow in the above picture. This will trigger the Sovereign to start sinking. Then grenade jump onto the top of the Sovereign and run to the right.

From here you can jump in the hole and grab the crown. If you were quick then you can hold left after grabbing the crown to land safely before moving right to continue the level.

Crown 3

After the second sinking Sovereign section (yes, there's two pieces that sink!) you'll find yourself surrounded by ninjas and purple blocks. Stand on the blocks as shown in the image above.

Grenade jump up on top of the platform the ninjas are attacking you from and you will find the final crown in the game!
Doom Howitzer (This Is Your End)
Ok, so maybe there isn't anything to collect in this level. But I'm including it here anyway because upon completion of the level you are awarded This Is Your End in the jukebox!
Thanks for Reading! (Shameless Plugs)
I hope this guide has been useful to you. If you find that a vinyl does not unlock as this guide says it should then you can be fairly sure it's a bug and you should report it.

there is a much easier way to do the first sukochi crown, by using explosive and charge punch, placing a grenade near the edge of it, and charge punching around the bottom left corner of your screen, you can make the jump!

You deserve 5 stars, mate. Thanks! :pbbg_itsuki:

Oh, so it's like tapping for short jumps and holding for long jumps, only for grenade tossing! Thanks, I'll give that a shot later.

@Indigo Jack
Just press the fire grenade button rather than holding it. There are two firing speeds, full power (hold the fire button) and low power (press the fire button). Hope this helps!

How do you get the first crown in Sukochi? I watched the video, but even with angling, I can't shoot the grenades that slowly. Mine always shoots out way too fast and ends up flying all the way across the moat.

Is there a trick to making the grenades shoot out slower or anything?
