Ending A

Looks like you've escaped your fate! (for now~) Head downstairs.

Save here, if you wish (at the glowing eyeball). Otherwise, continue through the only path available.

Keep walking down this path. Do you think you saw something out of the corner of your eye? it's probably just your mind playing tricks on you~

You'll come to a room with a turnstile, blocking the way for now. Walk through the door.

Head past the Hidden Hag Holds the Key poster, to the next room.

You are now in the Candle Pillar room. Make your way to the only other door at the top of the room and go through.

You are now in the 4-way room. The door to the north is locked, and that's our focus for now (ignore the other doors). Notice the glowing object in the plant? It's a cassette.

Pick it up and place it into the cassette player to listen to something...peculiar. The northern door will now be unlocked. Go through.

It will take you to the generator.Simply turn on the generator (by interacting with it) and leave the room.

You will notice now that all but one door will lock, the door to the south you first entered this 4-Way Room from.

Leave the room, back into the Candle Pillar room (you will notice a single candle has been lit on one of the pillars now)

Leave the Candle Pillar room, back to the room where the "Hidden Hag Holds the Key" poster....was.

A mysterious figure will rush to you, triggering the ending.
Ending B
To get this ending, you need to get your hands dirty!

You may have already noticed two rooms with victims-to-be running around in them. If not, they are located in the L-Shaped Hallway.

To find the L-Shaped hallway, simply take the door to your right in the 4-Way Room.

It will be dark, but move to the upper right portion of the screen and you will see a door. Enter.

This area will have a save point. Move to the right and you will see another door to walk through.

You are now in the dimly lit L-Shaped hallway. As you walk forward, you will immediately notice a door. A victim waits inside.

continue down the hallway and you will see the L-shaped curve. Follow it upward. There will be a door on your right, which is locked, and further up, a door on your left. Here lies another victim-in-waiting!

In this room, you will also find a "House Key" hiding in one of the bushes. That will come in handy later.

At the very end of the hallway is another door. The door will be locked, with a note beside it, stating that you may enter once you have "dirtied your hands."

You can't go murdering anyone without a proper weapon, though. Now it's time to head all the way back to the 4-Way room. Take the door on the left this time.

In here, you will see a house which appears to be made out of cardboard, as well as cut-out bushes and trees. Walk up to the house and step behind it.

You have now entered the "Red House". Groovy.

Walk down the hallway, checking the dresser. There you will find your murder weapon.

You can leave the house now, exiting the way you came.

For the purposes of this ending, you just need to go back to the previous rooms where the victims are, and use the knife. Once you do, you will find the door unlocked in the L-Shaped Hallway. Step inside and accept your fate...or a turnstile ticket, I should say.

Exiting all the way back to where the turnstile is, pop your ticket in and walk forward.

There's no going back now...

Ending C
This ending is a bit trickier, and there may be more than one way of going about getting it. The reason why it's so tough is mostly due to the fact there are several things which need to be done beforehand: Namely, finding the keys for and unlocking all the rooms in the Red House, and solving the puzzle in the Colors Room.

For this walkthrough, I will be sharing my particular route to C:

First things first, solve the Colors Puzzle to obtain an object you will be needing later. You may have noticed this room earlier, in the area beyond the L-Shaped Hallway. (after exiting the hallway, it's the first door on the right.)

In order to solve the puzzle, you will need to make a route that adds up exactly to the sum of 72. There are clues about the numerical value of each color scattered throughout the game.
Yellow=6 , Red=3 , Blue=1 , and Green=9

Still having trouble with the Color Puzzle? Try this:

Let's get those keys and open up every room in the Red House in case you haven't by now:

Walk down the hallway and unlocked the first door you see with the House key you found earlier.

Walk over the zebra rug.

You will notice another key there, the "Red Key". It will unlock this door, by the recycling bin:

The "Blue Key" can be found further up the hall, in the little waiting area in the right corner of the room, underneath the chair by the large cushion. Use the back scratcher to reach it!:

In the same hallway, you should see a blue and purple door. Use the key to unlock and go inside the Blue Room/Basement but be careful. There is a creature there that is much faster than you are. Make your way near the very top right of the room. You will get the "Purple Key", which unlocks the purple door next to the blue door.

Let's call this room the "Typewriter Room".

You can feel free to explore this room but be aware the Fairy could be around.

Now that all of that is out of the way, the next tricky task lies in getting the bathroom door in the Red House to open:

There is no key for this particular door. It seems to open randomly as you pass by, although it may not be so random. Exploration may be the key, whether it be exploring all of the newly unlocked rooms or other areas, I'm not so sure. The most important thing to remember is, once the door unlocks for you...go and save your game! That way, no matter what happens later on, the bathroom door will remain unlocked.

Once the bathroom is unlocked, however, upon entering you will see what appears to be a doppelganger of Marshmallow Monk; a mysterious masked figure. They will speak, then disappear.

After finding them in the bathroom, go back and check the room you unlocked with the House key, in the lower right corner. The figure will appear/disappear once again.

To find them a third time, go back to the basement. Avoiding the monster once again, make your way near the furnance at the top right.

Remember the door we unlocked earlier, with the Red key? Go inside and head toward the upper area...there's a bunny you can interact with on the right side (though it's not pertinent to this ending), and a confession booth to the left side. You should see the masked figure there as well. You can also interact with the booth if you like, though the consequences are unknown at this time.

The fifth time you find the mysterious figure will be in the room you previously unlocked with the Purple key, the room with the Typewriter.

Now you can leave the Red House completely; go back through the Cassette Room, taking the door at the top first, in order to turn on the generator. All other doors will become locked aside from the bottom door, leading out to the Candle-lit room. Leave that area, to the one with the Hidden Hag poster. You will run into the mysterious masked figure once again. Unlike ending A, the game does not end here. Not yet.

Can you tell where this is all going...?
Continue to follow the masked figure, going all the way back toward the area you started the game in, with the stairs. A miserable fate awaits you~!

Ending D
This ending is only accessible after you have completed Endings A-C and have every candle lit in the circular "altar". Candles, as you may have noticed, are lit upon certain events being triggered throughout the game; some involve endings, some involve puzzles or other secrets to be discovered. You'll know you are very close to Ending D when the only un-lit pillar remaining is the southernmost pillar. (This one is directly related to Ending C)

Something important to keep in mind: after following the masked figure and getting to the main area on your way to Ending C (the area you began the game in), DO NOT go up those stairs or you won't be able to return from that ending. Rather than going up the stairs, simply make your way back toward the altar area filled with candles. By now, they should all be lit. You should see something glowing in the middle of the altar. Why not take...a closer look?

From here, you should be able to find your own way to Ending D. Stare deeply into the abyss, and it will be staring back at you.

Ending E
A reasonable amount of time has passed since the release of Twisted Puzzle; enough that I think it's acceptable to finally show the solution to Ending E. Basically, each "eye" represents a specific musical tone, which you'll need to interact with in the correct order:

The eye switches iirc is what most people were having trouble with; I definitely remember a lot of overthinking going on.

I got all the info from your guide, the babby thread, and the youtube video that i linked, so i dont think i'm qualified to make a guide for it, hahah. Besides, your guide already explains most things already (especially regarding to ending B and C that can be hard to explain), so feel free to put the info in your guide instead to complete it. You need to lit all candles to get ending D, after all :)

I just reread what i sent and i just realized that i forgot to mention that i was referring to ending E. My bad! The guide only explains that you need to step on the eye switches, but you need to do more things to unlock the ending.

@aquatorrent You're welcome! And that's very thorough info for the candles, you should consider making a guide for it specifically yourself--I'm sure people would find it useful. Or I suppose I can add the info into this guide, if you would rather. (with credit)

As I mentioned previously, this guide was meant to just be about the endings, not a complete walkthrough in any sense so I tried to be rather ambiguous about certain things; and I didn't get into the specifics of the candles due to the "How is Babby Formed" forum thread existing first. Also, since it's been 4-5 years since I first wrote this guide, I'm not sure what you're referring to about ending D, sorry! :rendoh:

@Unseen & @jcdenton666 I'm not really sure how my guide was confusing to you in terms of Ending A, but I went back and made it much more detailed.

Ending a is unlocked by turning on the generator and going to the hidden hag holds the key poster. You just need to walk around and get touched by the man in the screen.

666 is right ending A doesn't work the way this guide says at all. I like cryptic weird horror games but if they don't work whats the point? Is there something I'm missing with ending A?

west candle: the clue lies in the camera in the typewriter room. you'll have to interact with a certain item with green and white marking 50 times. it's the trashcan in front of the red room. do so to get a clue: "head north to reach the stars". in the 4-way room (the one you do to go to the diner for east candle), head all the way north until you reach the stars and interact with it.

northwest candle: after you get the hammer, break the fragile wall in the first save point. it's located in the northwest corner. lit the lantern.

also, you might want to mention that you need to go to the locked (east) room in the l-shaped area afterward, then jump into the abyss hole in ending D.

this video also might help if anyone is stuck (not by me):

@jcdenton666: you need to turn on the generator and then head back to the room with the hag poster

thanks for the guide! here's the condition on how to lit the candles:

north candle: turn on the generator in ending A

southwest candle: use the Turnstile Ticket to the turnstile

northeast candle: unlock blue, red, and purple room

southeast candle: forgive the person in the booth in the red room (not sure if ignoring or not forgiving him also lit the candle)

east candle: get a knife, stab 3 people with your knife and use it on the bunny in red room. check 4-way (lost woods-style) puzzle and knife sections in How is Babby Formed? thread

south candle: talk to the very last masked man in ending C (it's the one in the first save point before the ending unlocks)

Ending A
the "easiest" ending DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. when I turn off the generator, neither do the doors lock, nor are there any "candles" in the pillar room, nor does any figure appear to give me the ending!!!!!!!!!

thank you so much for writing this. I keep looking for this masked figure in the other rooms but I've only seen them in the bathroom and the room with the zebra rug...does it normally take a few tries to see the masked figure in each room?

That's a tough one. There's no way to avoid her completely. There is a soft music that plays as you enter the house if she is already there, warning you of her presence. You'll notice sometimes the fairy will just be slowly, aimlessly wandering (which means she hasn't seen you yet) and you can still safely get away. Obstacles help but won't save you completely. Leaving the house itself and re-entering can sometimes help. However, just entering different rooms in the house will not help if she's already around, because she can actually follow you into those rooms too ( the surprise of that nearly made my heart pop a few times, haha). Good luck!! :ghastly:
