Equipment Slots Overhaul T2 Essentials Compatibility (ESOEC)

Beskrivelse
A modification on the Player's Inventory Panel and Playable Character's Base data, to add a set of visual only equipment (Cosmetic Slots) and swap function for armors (default hotkey is "a").

WARNING: BACK UP YOUR GAME SAVES AND UNEQUIP ALL ITEMS BEFORE USING THIS MOD.

This is compatible with Torchlight II Essentials that uses the Inventory Upgrade mod by JLCat

Using this mod alone is like having Inventory Upgrade and Equipment Slots Overhaul (IU + ESO)

ESO Features
  • Cosmetic Slots - a set of armor equipment slots that only serves as visual customization and equipment's benefits will not affect the character.
  • Swappable Armors - a set of hidden equipment slots that can be accessed by switching them to your current armor set interchangeably, just like with weapon swapping.
  • Compatibility with Brother-in-Arms: Warbounds mod to make the human companion be able to use cosmetic slots too.

Inventory Upgrade Features
  • Add 2 additional tabs for both player inventory and stash
    • Inventory now sorted by: Weapons, Armor, Socketables, Consumables, Spells
  • Double the stash slots
    • Each tab now have 80 slots
  • Adjusted UI
    • Move the "NG plus" under the Level, now it shows correct
    • Change the gold display font size, now it can display 8 digits

Important Notes
  • Weapon Swap buttons ("I" and "II") have been changed to avoid issues using two swap functions
  • Cosmetic Slots are hideable in the Panel

The term "Cosmetic Slots" came from this mod by the same name. Credit goes to Breck for bringing this concept to the workshop.

@Sechesin @Silas
You can mod it back in with GUTS, doudley described how a few pages back. I merged it with Deep Pockets' UI but I had to fix the stash files manually.

Confirming the previous. Installing this mod will cost you your second inventory tabs.

This mod is on top of my load order, but i only have 1 tab in my inventory. Its all working and bug free though, and i'm happy, just wanted to let you know.

Okay, sorry for the late reply (lost interest in TL2 for a while). Looking at the page for the Essentials mod, it looks like it has a -different- Inventory Upgrade mod now?

hi, thanks for the mod, you can make a mod like this but with weapons? :)

Its the same. The functions work but visually it has a bug. There's a trick to quickly swap weapons so that your wardrobe data will be refreshed, I think you have to do this every time you change location.

dunno if I've asked already, but does it work in coop? I mean - usually, cosmetic slots make equipment look invisible for other player

I'm not familiar with those other mods. Only one way to find out is to replace essential synergies with the original t2 essentials mod and see if the issue still persist and if so, then the conflict is definitely caused by one of the mods you are loaded with.

@doudley - That's possible. Another possibility, which I just realized, is that one of the other mods I have installed has caused the problem.

This is what I have: https://gyazo.com/329e9a8042fe4365d52ba4f522193e86

Thank you for that information. It seems the author of that merge mod did something to make the essentials mod files different with the original essentials mod and caused the incompatibility...
