STARTING
THIS GUIDE IS WORK IN PROGRESS, NOT ENDED YET

1. Upgrade your Team Fortress 2 account to premium
It can be done by purchasing any item from the Mannco store in-game, buy something cheap and (min 0.80 euro) don't buy backpack expanders now, you will automatically get a lot more slots to store your items in, like 700 or so. Upgading to premium has also other benefits (see my other guides)

2. Don't get your trading items retained!
Unless you have Steam Guard activated everytime you trade, both you and the other trader won't get your items in 15 DAYS!!! That's why many people won't trade with you.
If you want to get Steam Guard and make semi-instant trades, open up your phone, go to the appstore, playstore or whatever you have and download Steam app.
Notice that your mobile device has to have a Sim card and phone number.
Open the app, log-in and configure Steam Guard.

confirmations and notifications will be later explained a bit more (section 2)
  • Steam Guard <----
      pay attention to the tip
    • Remove authenticator
    • My recovery code <----
    • Help

  • Confirmations (to confirm any trade sent / recieved / accepted / done and other things)
  • Notifications (will show a notification when recieving a trade offer among other things)

Save your recovery code somewhere safe where you will remember and don't lose it, save more than one because if you lose it it will be hard to recover acces to your account.
Steam guard offers superior account protection

3. Let people view your backpack
Even if there is any item you want to hide, letting people see what items you carry is not bad (my brain is suffering trying to write better in english), they can gain interest and make trades faster by already knowing what you can offer.
It's simple, go to your account > Inventory > More > Inventory privacy settings and make your backpack viewable by public (anyone)

I also recommend letting anyone leave comments on your profile, because there is a website called SteamRep https://steamrep.com where you cand find if the trader is known for scamming.
Also people who trade with you can give you good reputation by writing comments on your profile, atracting more traders if there is any fake comment saying you are a scammer you can delete it. EZ BZ lemon squeeze ;)
