Treasure Hunter's Guide
By AndrewBagel
Screenshots showing the locations of all Treasure Hunt chests. I've divided each level into its segments so that the guide can be better used to help players figure out which treasures they are missing.

Captions are placed above their respective images.

Although the Treasure Hunts are the focus of the guide, I've included some (hopefully all?) of the other weapon level ups. If you notice that I've missed something, just let me know!

Indigo Tines
10 chests, 6 other treasures

Since the first level has a pretty simple design, most of the chests are in plain sight. One of the chests gives Rik a weapon level.

Segment 1 (5 chests, 2 other treasures)

Interact with the dracomage skull as Tox.

Segment 2 (5 chests, 3 other treasures)

Hollow River
7 chests, 4 other treasures

If you knock down a cloudpod into a poison cloud, it still counts toward your treasure hunt completion even though you can't pick up the cloudpod.

Segment 1 (4 chests, 2 other treasures)
Drop down and head left.

Going back up...

Two for one deal here.

Shoutout to Puff

Segment 2 (3 chests, 1 other treasure)

Another two-for-one!

Remember to talk to the blacksmith back in Hollowford for another weapon level upgrade!

The Blanket
10 chests, 2 other treasures

Here we see the levels start to open up more.

Segment 1 (5 chests, 1 other treasure)

Two-for-one.

This one tried to hide.

Down and left from the previous one.

This one is in the far bottom-right corner, under the exit. The heat vents will keep you afloat if you stay in the middle of them.

Segment 2 (5 chests, 1 other treasure)

Knock the leaf free of the vent by throwing a stone.

This one is just above the leaf.

Use Tox to get this one if you want to get back up.

For the next two, you can make some of the heat vents more powerful by covering other heat vents with the stones on the floor. Just like a hot tub!

Rik decides to have some fun. Tox is none too pleased.

The Feverlands
8 chests, 3 other treasures. If you knock a treasure into the swamp, you can make it reappear by leaving and coming back or entering a battle.

Segment 1 (3 chests, 2 other treasures)

Push the rock first if you want the item.

Another fallen dracomage...

Segment 2 (5 chests, 1 other treausre)

This one has a weapon level up for Rik!

Have the platform tilted like so. Otherwise, the treasure will fall into the swamp.

I really thought there was going to be a boss fight at the peninsula in the background...
Silkwind Crossroads
8 chests, 1 other treasure

Segment 1 (4 chests, 1 other treasure)

Under the exit to segment 2.

Segment 2 (4 chests)
Drop down and go left. Use Tox's Frost Breath to freeze the silk. It makes a cool sound.

Down and all the way to the right.
The White Cliffs
12 chests, 1 other treasure. A weapon level for both the Princess and Rik can be found in two of the chests.

The most difficult treasure hunt is saved for last. You know this place is serious as it has three segments instead of the normal two!

Segment 1 (4 chests)

Let's start by heading to the right first. Use Force Breath to push the ice block over here.

Now we can work our way up...

Head a little to the left...

Knock the ice cube down with Rik so you can get a good jump over here.

Segment 2 (3 chests, 1 other treasure)
Drop down and head left.

The next two are in plain sight. thankfully.

Another slain dracomage. You'll need to use the ice block to get up here. You can reset its location using Tox's Flame Breath.

Segment 3 (5 chests)

For this one, you can gently nudge the ice block in the previous image to the left and then immediately back to the right where it will fall to the lower level. Alternatively, push it to the left (full force) and it will land on the adjacent ledge below the chest. Then push it to the right.
After you got the ice block down, have Tox push it all the way to the right, where he can use it to reach the chest.

Throw a rock at the wall of snow. A chest will appear just below you.

Have Tox and Rik fall (or swept by an avalanche) near the very end. Use flame breath to shrink the ice block, then have Rik push it all the way to the right.

Get to the end of the segment, then fall along the rightmost wall.

Oblivion's Roost (Writing on the Wall)
The Writing on the Wall quest is similar enough to a treasure hunt, so why not put it here too? Completing the quest gets the Princess another weapon level and explains the origin of the White and Black magic (Nix explains this in a less cryptic way if you defeat her in the post-game). Screenshots with the Princess show the locations of the writings.

Segment 1 (3 writings)

Safe travels quest. Block one of the large doors with the stone. Have Tox use Noxious Breath at the other door. This gets Tox a weapon level.

Segment 2 (2 writings)

Here we meet Dex--talking to him gets Rik a weapon level. Below him is a chest that gets the Princess a weapon level.

Back to Writing on the Wall...

Last one.

What's your story...?

...And five minutes later I did it. Naturally. Love the game.

This is really awesome, and totally saved my bacon in regards to the writing on the wall. But I just can't seem to get that first chest from The Blanket. Rik just never quite seems to get high enough to stay on the platform!
