Alien Laser Pistol

Let's face it, getting futuristic weapons on ARK is a pain. Who has time to kill bosses just to be able to shoot bolts of light? SharpTEK has a shortcut that may or may not have been taken off the corpse of a dead alien. Introducing a laser pistol that does not require months of your existence to produce. The A1 Laser Pistol fires bolts of light of the same variety as the TEK rifle with a few differences. The bolts do more damage but do not explode so the damage is direct instead of splashing surrounding organisms. On top of that this pistol generates bolts internally and uses coolant cells to prevent overheating (or, catastrophically combusting as some may call it) instead of using Element as ammunition.



This mod adds the A1 Laser Pistol to ARK. It works similar to the TEK rifle except that it is not automatic, it's bullet capacity is smaller, it does not overheat, and it uses a special type of ammunition called coolant cells. Furthermore this is not a TEK item so you do not need to defeat any bosses to unlock the Engram. The Engrams for the weapon and the coolant cells can be unlocked at level 100. The pistol and coolant cells are crafted at the fabricator and they are not produced using Element.

Please keep in mind that once a coolant cell is loaded into the pistol, it cannot be retrieved. Reloading at 50% will consume a new coolant cell and the old one will not be returned.
