The Way of White: Overview and Premise
Overview
Hello and welcome to my challenge guide for Dark Souls 3. This challenge guide will take you through the steps on becoming a masterful Cleric through obedient soul leveling to gain access to new areas and challenging trials to face to deepen your faith and challenge your skill. This gamemode is not for new players and is for people who have at least played through the game once. It is meant to playthrough this mode on a new character and not any characters on New Game+ but you can if you would like to. The uniqueness of this guide comes within the fact that you need to level your characters soul level to access new areas on normal difficulty and on top of this, on hard difficulty you need to also level your faith stat. The faith stat leveling adds depth to the Cleric character you will be playing through the playthrough for it takes faith that you will be protected through the lands that you are traversing. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns please leave them down in the comments of the guide or contact me personally. If you would like to add stuff to the guide, please leave your suggestions and I will make sure to read all of them and try to make this the best mode I possibly can. Thank you and may you praise the sun, Cleric.

Leveling System
The unique leveling system covered in this guide goes as follows: You are required to meet a certain soul level before entering new areas or else you cannot enter them. It is apart of the challenge and it adds a new twist on the game that wasn't there before. While you could before run through the game on soul level 1 if you're really professional, now you are forced to save up your souls to level up your character so you can enter new areas. You are also forced to farm souls from certain mobs to either buy new miracles that can help your Cleric or to level up your Cleric to the proper level.

Experience(XP) System
This system adds an experience leveling system to all of the quests and gives you a title based upon your experiences throughout the game and all of the quests you have done. When you have reached maximum XP, your title will be "Bearer of Light". (166,700 XP)

MAIN QUEST LINE:
As a Cleric it is your duty to travel to Lothric to aid Emma who has called upon you. She has summoned you to the church in Lothric for she has a task for you.
Pre-Journey Startup (Selection Menu)
Class Selection
The first thing you do when starting a new character in Dark Souls 3 is choosing your class. For this challenge run you get to choose between two starting classes.

The Unfortunate Cleric // Deprived Class
The Deprived Class is the embodiment of starting out with a challenge run. It has base stats across the board and it is good for starting or creating a build. The club is a very good weapon capable of staggering most opponents and also having a natural buff weapon art. The shield, on the other hand, is a useless piece of wood that just drags the Deprived class downwards. What the Deprived lacks in armor, he makes up in offense and the incredible starting stats. The Unfortunate Cleric goes as follows: A cleric arises from a tomb where he has no recollection of how he has gotten there and has misplaced his armor and chime, all he remembers is that he was a practicing cleric wandering to Lothric Castle to try and aid the failing kingdom.

The Fortunate Cleric // Cleric Class
The Cleric Class gives you a good start in terms of weaponry, miracles, and armor. While lacking the proper head gear, a Cleric is supplied with a very good starting chime, a good weapon, and some miracles to back him up. The healing miracle will be the main focus of the challenge so this class is very good to start off with if you would like to be on the easier side of things.
