In Game Bio: Not what the legends seem to have told us. Screaming, ferocious, and magical. Creatures which unleash a blask of fire. Can hover over hazzards. High dodge chance, weak to electricity. Strong resistance to fire.

Summary: Pixies can be found almost anywhere on the overworld map, making them a very common unit to encounter as an enemy or as a potential teammate on a roster. The Pixie unit provides large amounts of attack damage to clustered enemies but cannot absorb much damage itself due to low health and defenses. The Pixies ability to fly give it excellent mobility with the bonus affect of obstacle avoidance and a high chance to dodge enemy attacks.

Stats: Since Pixies can wear helmets, I have broken down the stats into a chart for better understanding of how the types of helmets change the stats of both standard Pixies and units selected as a hero of a team.

• Hover gives this unit the passive ability to avoid battle field hazards such as lava, pit traps, and poison.
  
• Flight allows the Pixie to move over enemy units and across map voids, making it a creature that is hard to pin down or trap.
  
• Resistance to fire reduces the damage done via fire by 50%.
  
• Bonus damage against Hair Trolls, Troll Mothers (including her minions),Cupcakes, and Mascots.
  
• Highest dodge in the game allows for up to a 22% chance to dodge an enemy attack.
  
• Immune to being snared either by characters equipped with a net or by Spidaurs

• Electric attacks via Electrobots do 100% more damage against Pixies.

AOE Attack: Unlike most of the units in the game, the Pixie only has one attack and can only be used at range. The fire blast attack deals from 9-15 damage when not hindered by a helmet and can target up to three enemy units at one, with a possibility of dealing up to 45 damage in a single turn. This area of affect attack also has a chance to set battle map hexes ablaze, causing any units, friendly or not, to take fire damage when walking to or thru that hex. The fire blast attack can hit friendly units so be sure to check your formations before letting loose.

Viability In Battle: Pixies are the half crazy, kamakazee members of the team. Low health and defense make it very challenging to keep the units alive during battle but thier high damage output to multiple units, makes sure the pixie does its fair share of the work before biting the dust. Utilized as a front line unit only, no other units should be moved into the proximity of a Pixie to prevent any friendly fire from damaging your other units. Once the Pixie reeks its havoc and is eliminated, move in with other units on your roster to clean up.

Team Ups: There are loads of uses for Pixies and here are just a few.

• More Pixies on team allows clustered enemies to be surrounded, taking massive damage from all sides and force enemies to focus on multiple units instead of just one. Low health would be a concern until you factor in the staggering amount of damage a 3 man team of Pixies could lay out per turn. When dealing an average of 75 damage per turn, the enemies will drop faster than your Pixies.
  
  
• Granting the fiery sprites an escort in the form of a mascot grants increased damage to the Pixies already high output but also provides a boost in defense, allowing your flying friends to wreck the opposition while taking less damage to their frail frames.
  
  
• Mortars standing behind a team of Pixies can add to the overall damage of the team while remaining free from harm from both the enemy team and the friendly Pixies. It is possible to deal over 100 points of damage per turn with the correct set up and execution of this team up.
