General Achievements
The Eye of Terror - To successfully pass The Eye of Terror, you must choose to use either your Close or Ranged Combat skill and add the result of one die roll. If the total is 9 or higher, you successfully battled through to the Middle Region and you have your achievement.

Luna Naval Blockade - To battle through the blockade you must select the Close or Ranged Combat skill and roll two dice. If the total result of the two dice is equal to or less than the selected skill you pass the blockade and the achievement is yours!

Victory at Damocles Spaceport - After you have passed Luna your may choose to continue in the inner region by going left or right. If you go right you will encounter Damocles Spaceport. Once there you must roll two dice and battle an enemy in close combat with the total result (2-12 average 7) Once you have defeated this enemy you are victorious.

Survived the Wastes - Same as above, except to get this achievement you must go left in the inner region and the firefight tests your ranged combat instead of close combat. Wasn't that easy?

Reinforcements - To get this achievement you must have a talisman and land on an allied warlord who does not have one. You then choose to Encounter Warlord and trade away your hard-won talisman. This can be an effective strategy if they have superior stats and can enter the inner region and win the game for your side but do not have a talisman.

The Maelstrom - To get this achievement you must go to The Maelstrom, a space on the right side of the outer region, once there you must roll a 6 to allow you to cross The Warp into the middle region.

Strategy Master - To get this achevement you must have a strategy stat of 3.
3 victories are required to increase Strategy from 0 to 1
5 victories are required to increase Strategy from 1 to 2
7 victories are required to increase Strategy from 2 to 3
Once you have 3 strategy you need to gain your full complement of strategems. Vulkan, Alexis Polux and Ezekyle Abaddon all have pretty reliable ways to gain stratagems. Once you have 3 stratagems at the start of your turn and the conditions are right cast one after the other until you have used all of them.

Level 50 - To get this achievement you need to finish a lot of games. After you finish a game you gain experience based on how much fate you used, items you had, spells cast, victories won, etc, and a bonus for winning. Depending on how many of any of these things you did your mileage getting to 50 will vary. But don't expect it overnight.

Level 100 - Same as above but longer, expect to be in for the long haul.
Loyalist Achievements
These are achievements you can get as any loyalist character.

Victory at Signus Prime - At the top right corner of the outer region is the traitor world of Signus Prime. If you enter the space you must battle an enemy with a close combat of 4. Once you do so you are more achieved.

Errant Quest Complete - To get this achievement you must first go to Titan, the planet in the bottom left of the middle region. Once there you must recieve a quest and follow the instructions. As soon as you meet the conditions for your quest you are transported immediately to Titan and can recieve a Talisman, ending your quest.

Loyalist Victory at Inner Palace - In the inner region before you can proceed to the Vengeful Spirit where the final battle takes place you must engage in Close or Ranged combat with the Chosen of Horus with a combat stat of 10. Once you are victorious the achievement is yours.

Defeat Horus - To get this achievement you must take the last life from Horus who is aboard the Vengeful Spirit in the middle of the inner region. He starts with 5 lives and you battle him with your choice of close or ranged combat, either way his stat is 14. Once you take the last life you win the game!
Traitor Achievements
These are achievements you can get as any traitor warlord

Victory at Nikaea - At the bottom left corner of the outer region is the loyalist world of Nikaea. If you enter the space you must battle an enemy with a close combat of 4. Once the enemy is defeated you get an achievement

Infernal Quest Complete - To get this achievement you must first go to Davin, the planet in the top right of the middle region. Once there you must recieve a quest and follow the instructions. As soon as you meet the conditions for your quest you are transported immediately to Davin and can recieve a Talisman and your achievement.

Traitor Victory at Inner Palace - In the inner region before you can proceed to the Vengeful Spirit where the final battle takes place you must engage in Close or Ranged combat with the Chosen of The Emperor with a combat stat of 10. Once you are victorious the achievement is yours.

Defeat The Emperor - To get this achievement you must take the last life from The Emperor who is aboard the Vengeful Spirit in the middle of the inner region. He starts with 5 lives and you battle him with your choice of close or ranged combat, either way his stat is 14. Once you take the last life you win the game!
Character Achievements
All of these achievements are gained by playing as a single character over multiple games and gaining experience by completing as many of the character goals mentioned above in Level 50. HAVE FUN GRINDING!

UPDATE: Additional achievements have been added from expansions and character packs. However all new achievements are identical standard character-based grindy ones. So if you're somehow still intent on 100%ing this game it now involves buying additional content and more grinding. HAVE FUN!

Another Steam user has created a guide to help understand the details of the grind. Check it out here.

It's a real shame these couldn't be more like the Talisman Digital Edition character achievements where each one was individually tailored to using (or in some annoying cases NOT using) the character's unique abilities. That method made each achievement unique and led to more unique games instead of the relentless, heartless grind of these achievements which made me immediately not care about trying to 100% this game.

UPDATE II: This game has now been taken off the steam store due to publishing rights expiring. So if you don't own all the DLC content for this game you cannot get the achievements associated with characters from them. The only way to get the game or DLC now would possibly be to buy unredeemed Steam keys.

Yes, each DLC package came with new characters, all of which have an achievement associated with them.

There's a total of 7 dlc's excluding the soundtrack. Are all of them required to get 100% ?

Is there any benefit in getting a character to 100% besides the achievement? For 25, 50 and 75, there are in game bonuses. I am trying to figure out if any of those exist for 100%

Thanks:steamhappy:

Hey! I just added a small guide for the grinding of those character achievements. In it I included a link to your guide for the people who want to know about the other achievements. I hope that's ok for you; if not, please inform me and I'll delete the link. And btw: Good guide! :hhLoyalist:

Thanks for the guide, 'Survived the Wastes' was the one I was after. Too bad about all the character ones, no way I'm grinding for hours for them it's just not fun.
