How to create a custom resolution for AMD video cards with CRU
By ᴊᴀʙ00ʟ
In this guide, I will be showing you how to use a program called "Custom Resolution Utility" to create a custom resolution for CS:GO such as 1440x1080. It is a fairly easy process but can be confusing. Thank you for reading my guide!

CRU
First, download a program called "Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)" https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU

Then, run CRU.exe and find your moniter from the drop-down menu at the top

Then, click on add and enter your custom resolution to the boxes shown here

I will be using 1440x1080 as it is a good resolution for 4:3 aspect ratio. Don't mess around anything else unless you know what you are doing.

Then click OK, OK, and open CS:GO (you might need to restart your computer.
CS:GO
In CS:GO, click options>Videos settings and make sure that you have the game running in full screen mode, then select the 4:3 aspect ratio (or whatever one you want to use) and choose your new custom resolution!

If you don't see your new resolution in CS:GO, you may need to restart your computer.
