Welcome! In this guide you'll find all you need to be able to train a recruit successfully!

So lets go over the regulations of training first!:
-You may only ever train if you a SPC or above, PFC's can train but must be supervised by SGT+
-Must know the rules of server and very very basic's of RP
-Must have a microphone

The objective of training is to get your recruit on the battlefield as fast as possible while still being efficient. So do not rush while training a recruit. Also make sure you implement who trained them in their description. So for example "Trained by 21X-2LT. Rex".

It's also ideal that SPC-SGT train. Other ranks have bigger responsibilites. These few ranks are what we call T-Ranks.

Anyway lets go into the basics of how to train a recruit.
The Basics
Training a recruit is what makes this server what it is. As the trainer it is your responsibilty to keep the recruit intact and controlled. The entire server starts from training...
The point is its your enthusiasm and dedication that makes the player motivated to get into the server, so dont follow this guide step for step, add some thing for yourself to make the player interested.

So lets begin, first...

(IF THEY CANT SEE ANYTHING ALLOW THEM TO USE THE CONTENT PACK !CONTENT IN CHAT)[/h1]
1. (IC) When training introduce yourself, explain who you are, your rank and MOS and your part in the army. Tell them a little about yourself, and make them feel comfortable with your personality.

2. (OOC) Explain to them the commands of the server, for example, /ooc, /me, /whisper, /r all the commands that would be needed to play the server. Teach them basic rules, and the basic perimeters of there limits. Essential roleplay rules should be explained.

3. (IC) Then teach them about the ranks in order. The ranks are as following:
[Junior Enlisted]
PVT - Private
PFC - Private First Class
SPC - Specialist

[Non-Commissioned Officer]
CPL - Corporal
SGT - Sergeant
SSG - Staff Sergeant

[Senior Non-Commissioned Officer]
SFC - Sergeant First Class
MSGT - Master Sergeant
1SG - First Sergeant
SGM - Sergeant Major
CSM - Command Sergeant Major
SMA - Sergeant Major of the Army

[Warrant Officer]
WO-1 -Warrant Officer
CW-2 - Chief Warrant Officer
CW-3 - Chief Warrant Officer
CW-4 - Chief Warrant Officer
CW-5 - Chief Warrant Officer

[Commissioned Officer]
2ndLT - Second Lieutenant
1stLT - First Lieutenant
CPT - Captain

[Senior Commissioned Officer]
MAJ - Major
LTC - Lieutenant-Colonel
COL - Colonel
BG - Brigadier General
MG - Major General
LTG - Lieutenant General
GEN - General
GOA - General of the Army

Then teach them about the current MOS's and how to apply for one.

4. Next are our faces..
.

For this part of the training you will take your recruit(s) outside to the formation area. You will show them how to line up and which line to stand in. Teach them how the formation line up works. Then you will teach them faces.

Faces work like this:

Make them start looking at you:
A Right face means turn and look to your right at 90 degrees
A left face means turn and look to your left at 90 degrees
An About face means turn and look behind you at 180 degrees

And this continues, so if someone calls right face twice, your basically doing an about face. You will continualy turn to the direction thats called.

5. Give them a quick mini tour of the FOB. Tell them where they can and cant go.

6. Bring them back to the barracks and go to the vendor. Give them their weapons and show them how to equip and customize those weapons. Then, most importantly give them their radio, show them how to turn it on and make them go to the right frequency. The U.S standard frequency is 002.3.

7. Make them do a test on the radio and then let them take some shots with the standard AR-15 at the target. Also teach them the ammo rule, only 3 takes per life.

MAKE SURE YOU EXPLAIN THE ROE AND POSSIBLY QUIZ THEM ON IT:

Finishing Up
After your done with the IC training part your just about finished... Just a few more things to make it easier on the admins.
8. Make sure they have a realistic description. For example: Eye Color: Blue | Height: 6'1 | Confirmed Kills: 5 | etc. They can do this by pressing F1 and clicking on the white box. Make sure they add who they were trained by which would be you in this case so for example: |Trained By: 11B-SGT. Yuing |

Then, finally call in admin in using the @ command for whitelisting and ask if there are any question s the recruit may still have about the server.
Conclusion
Also, direct them to our forums and Discord for better roleplay:

Also, thank you for taking the time to train these recruits. I know it can be stressful so make sure you put the amount of recruits you trained in your description so you wont have to as much (we check descriptions.) It gets good once your out of the T-Ranks.

We appreciate your hard work and dedication, I hope this guide helped...
