Settsu Consistent Deck Build
By sachasfeldman
Wouldn't it be great if you always got the best cards in your deck every time? If you always got the few upgrades that, when combinded, made you an unstoppable juggernaught? This deck makes that happen.

How to use the deck

Settsu has the best synergy cards in the game, with laser ammo and high powered laser. When combined with fist of fury you become unstoppable. Missle barrage is ridiculous if you play two and with not many high cost cards and two infused blocking, your block chance will always be pretty high which is incredibly useful. You want to have two of every card because if a card is in your deck you should want to draw it, so it makes sense to increase the odds of drawing it as high as possible.

Most of the deck is drawing, every card that costs one and draws a card is in the deck. That might seem bad because they don't do that much, though their secondary effects are useful. This deck is about upgrading the best, not the most. Over half the cards in this deck draw a card, which sets up some great hot coffee combos. Don't be afraid to use hot coffee, you don't need to get the maximum out of it everytime. If you're low on health it can be a lifesaver.

Here's an explanation of each card

High Roller: draws a card and heals. You have a lot of healing in this deck so don't be worried about wasting this card and not having healing later.

Hot coffee: Explained above. if you get lucky and draw two you can often play half your deck.

Illusion Michael: Sometimes you've played hot coffee and gone off but thats left you with very few cards in your hand, illusion michael is here to save you. Plus it draws one.

Nano med injector: Probably the best healing card in the game. It costs one and you can play it even if you don't need healing that moment.

shield: yeah the shield ability isn't earth-shattering, but it costs one and draws a card and the shield affect is not completely useless in harder levels when some enemies do 40+.

mind bend: costs two, draws two cards and can save you if you are down to 1-2 cards in your hand.

spell muncher: my favorite healing card and crucial for this deck. This deck has so many spells, when every one heals you by 35 you're almost always at max health.

unfair advantage: this is the best card in the game, it should be in every deck, even if you draw a one cost card all that means is that you essentially had one less card in your deck, which leads to you getting to the powerful cards.

dragoste: more health and drawing. Its an upgrade that draws, what's not to love

infused blocking: so the highest cost card in this deck is 5, but thats just an illusion, infused blocking is the card you want to be playing around 6-8 mana, often you'll have around 50% block chance with just these two.

seeker missels: the only card I'd be willing to debate switching with another card, but its just too good. 10 homing missels everytime you jump is incredibly powerful

weapon upgrade: see dragoste, except now its damage

Highpowered laser/ laser ammo: you will always play at least one of both, 100% more damage on your piercing shots, and you have more piercing shots, you'll kill most things easily.

fist of fury: you shoot A LOT faster. you get to your piercing shots faster and just melt enemies

side note: the challange condition where everytime you play a spell your upgrades cost one more is hard to deal with, but if you play carefully it is not a death sentence.

tl;dr: bunch of drawing cards that get you to the few essential upgrades that make you a god

lock and load makes a lot of sense, what would you cut for excitable?

IMO Lock and Load (Rush: +50% reload speed for 1 mana) is better than Seeker Missiles. Since the goal of the deck seems to be using piercing shots, reloading them up to twice as fast is VERY good. Especially since reloading takes so long. I might also swap something out for Excitable (2 mana, every time you play a 3+ mana card you gain 5% attack speed), since about half of your deck satisfies the condition.

actually you should cut infused blocking for the hat thing that gives you 10% block and draw a card
