Beskrivning

Converts regular ships into Mass Transit ferries and patches ship/boat buildings shaders for them to properly float on water + allows to place steam boat manually

Converted 'ship' buildings are available in Landscaping->Water Structures. They properly adapt to water surface, bob on waves and no longer produce any warnings. All thanks to new Custom/Buildings/Building/Floating shader that was introduced for vanilla Steam Boat asset

While for ferry conversion Mass Transit is obviously required, non-DLC users can still use this mod for fixing 'ship' parks

Config is located in
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\FerryConverter-Config.xml

It follows same structure as Train Converter's config. You can see and edit list of conversions there

I am wondering if you can (any possibility) update/add mod option for this so it can change some boat, yatch etc assets/props into Fishing Boats. I am working on a basic Marina transformation asset right now, if i change assets & props from workshop it can be stealing people's hard work which i do not want to :)

This mod changes ships to ferries automatically? I have vehicle ships and I have vehicle ferries and I dont want to make ships into ferries but I would like to use the converter to make a ship "building" float.

Yeah but is it cosmetic only or does it replace the functionality of traditional ships?
