simple tips for noob scrubs.

You can fire your crossbow underwater.
It’s a quick and effective way to deal with drowners and sirens

Roll when you land.
Fall damage can be negated by Tapping the jump button before you hit the ground.

Don’t drop your items.
Head to the city in novigrad and visit the blacksmith in the townsquare. He’ll always give you a fair price for the weapons and armor you bring in. And more often than not he’ll have a lot of worthwhile stuff you can buy from him.

Don’t Agro the guards
Guards for the most part are easy to parry and easy to dodge like most of the human enemies in the game. But unlike most enemies guards can more or less one shot you and they attack in groups. When they beat you they take half your money and leave.

Now lets move on to Signs

Axii: for the most part is useless.
In combat when outside of combat it allows you to bend people to your will.

Aared: is the ultimate middle finger to practically every lower level enemy
The shockwave has the ability to knock people and monsters off their feet which allows you to move in and finish them off.

Igni: specifically firestream is the ultimate middle finger to pretty much every higher level enemy.
It deals lingering damage stuns the enemy and effectively opens them up for a series of consecutive blows. In a pinch the base form of igni can serve as an excellent stun and run.

Yerden is pretty much the only way to effectively deal with wraiths.

Quen: Is all but mandatory when facing off against hard hitting foes.
When activated quen neutralizes poison, stops burning, and allows you to walk away from 1-4 hits without taking any damage.

Axii is an absolute blessing when you're bad at the game.

Axii is 100% not useless. FYI, you're grammar is appalling.

It's ironic that the title is "simple tips for noob scrubs." and you claim Axii is useless in combat. Axii is an absolute blessing in Blood and Broken Bones difficulty. I usually use it to incapacitate the archer in the 1 vs 13 type battles against bandits or to freeze an enemy with near full-health while I finish off his friend and then, most of the time, land a one-shot execution on him. Think about the applications of a gameplay mechanic before deeming it useless next time man.

Axii isn't useless if you put skill points into improving it. You can even bend enemies to your will and make them fight for you. You may want to revise that section, no offense.

your grammar is kind of frustrating

craciun, not all the time. In my early days as a witcher i used it on a troll and rolled to the side to get a better position (since i had another troll to deal with) and immedietly after i used it the troll came to and beat my ass like a cheap whore. All it did was make him touch his head, and make him think "Why do i have a headache all of a sudden? Oh well, back to killing this motherfucker!"
All in all, axii is utterly useless.

Axii is far from useless. It lets you stun the enemy and get in a couple of free hits while the enemy is stunned.

"Axii: for the most part is useless."

Not so much if you are facing humans. As when it's leveled up you can instant kill the effected.
