This Addon is no longer receiving updates. Sorry. :(

Why isn't this on the workshop already? Anyway...

Makes NPCs randomly drop weapons, ammo, health, and armor upon death. Uses only the Half-life 2 weapons, you do not need any other games or addons to use this (probably). If you extract this addon's .gma you can customize it using Notepad++ or another program like Notepad++ (I don't know any other programs really).

It should still work fine, but I haven't tested it recently.

Last time I checked, certain mods that affect NPC corpse Ragdolls can break it a little.

And who cares that it's not easily customizable? Not everyone needs it to be, such as me. The default configuration is wonderful if you want to use the default weapons, which isn't some minuscule niche.

Well don't just take it down because of that; just let them know what they're actually getting. That's what the description section is for. And the thought that just because you didn't get all you wanted out of this means it's not worth anything is just daft. Everything that has been contributed to the Workshop is worth something to someone. One man's trash is another's treasure.

No but with other loot mods featuring the kind of customization I eventually wanted to add, I didn't want people finding this one so easily thinking they'd get that experience then complaining rather pointlessly in my comments for days on end about the lack of such features that may or may not ever be added.

If I had the necessary knowledge then that whole thing wouldn't really matter because then i could actually put some work into an update or something. Otherwise it's mostly still up for preservation purposes... or if I decide I wanna try again....

Well, you put effort into this, no matter how well you think you did, and there's no downside to having it public, so why private it? It still exists on the Workshop servers so the space it takes up is still the same either way, and it's not hurting anyone.

I didn't unlist this because I didn't think it was good, I unlisted it because other modders started making other loot mods with features I wanted to add before I could. I lacked the skills to beat them to it.

I'm kinda glad they did it though cuz now people dont need to wait for however long it takes me to teach myself how to code this stuff.
