Tips
Just some few tips to keep in mind in you want all achievements ASAP:
  • Fall in all holes! Some have permanent closing mechanism and the only way to scount the tiles under for cartographer achivement is to jump in there in the next playthrough.
  • Destroy the black stones after you finish your bestiary. Although this is not that crucial since there will be many monsters and you can always kill more in the next playthrough.
  • Keep the broken knife you find in the very beginning. You will thank me later. (See Assassin achievement for explanation)
  • Don't push your stats up to 50, because (if I'm not wrong) they don't do anything over that value and you will find some tomes to improve your stats. 47 is ok, so you have room for three playthroughs without wasting your skill points.
  • Mage is weak. Go warrior if you wanna be strong and fast.
  • Invest in STR (damage), END (capacity), and AGG (crit. chance). The rest is not needed.
Achievements pt.1

You can ignore this one.
Sooner or later you get it.

For fire mastery you have to learn these spells: (Some of them will be available in the shop later around level 25. You can just buy them, learn them, get the achievement, and load.)
  • Fire arrow
  • Fireball
  • Great Fireball
  • Fire Trap
  • Burning Arrow
  • Multi Fireballs
  • Fire Storm

For ice mastery you need:
  • Frost Arrow
  • Frost Bolt
  • Blizzard
  • Ice Trap
  • Frozen Arrows
  • Frozen Bolts
  • Winter Storm

For earth mastery you need:
  • Undead Attack
  • Arrow Storm
  • Stone Storm
  • Earth Trap
  • Shockwave
  • Earthquake

For light mastery you need:
  • Lightning Arrow
  • Energy Sphere
  • Lightning Strike
  • Lightning Trap
  • Lightning Trail
  • Divine Lightning

For poison mastery you need:
  • Poison Arrow
  • Poison Cloud
  • Poison Swarm
  • Poison Trap
  • Poison Bursts
  • Poison Wrath
  • Deadly Arrow

You can totally ignore this one. It will pop up itself after a while of playing.

"Staying close the the lit bonfire helps to regenerate my wounds. But is it enough..." - Mountains 2
"I made the right decision. Without the levers, nobody can go through this door. This place is too scary..." - Mountains 3
"This puzzle is getting crazy... I hope the last one is the right one." - Temple 1
"I can't leave this place... I must find a way to cure myself. The poison is getting stronger. I hope someone..." - Temple 2
"Magic or not, fire is the answer. I almost had it..." - Temple 2
"I should leave this note for someone to find... D.D.D.D." - Temple 3
"I couldn't find the two others combinations, but I need to remember this one... D.U.U.D." - Temple 3
"I need to write it down before I forget... D.U.U.U." - Temple 3
"I've been alone for so long... And yet, it didn't seem so hard at first..." - Temple 3
"I was so close... But my legs... It hurts so much..." - Temple 4
"If you ever find me... I wish you good luck... Strong challenges await you in these dungeons." - Sanctuary 2
"These plants start to act crazy! How come we can make experience if they hit us all the time..." - Mines 1
"We might not have enough samples, but we can't stay here anymore. It feels too dangerous now..." - Mines 2
"These weird creatures are interestingly surprising. I hope we can extract enough slime from them." - Mines 2
"Where are these sticks? I wish I could find them..." - Caves 1
"Don't..." - Caves 2

You have to use OWN trap. Triggering normal traps at enemies does not count. Use for example fire trap.

  • Agility - Temple 3
  • Endurance - Sanctuary 1
  • Strength - Sanctuary 2
  • Constitution - Mines 2
  • Intelligence - Mines 3
  • Spirit - Caves 1
  • Spirit - Caves 1 (Yes, there are two.)
  • Luck - Caves 1

Also very easy. In the beginning you will have access only to light armour. Later to medium and around level 25 (if I remember correctly) to heavy armour. Simply have ANY set of armour complete (for example complete chain armor), one in each category.

Easiest thing ever. Just ignore it, because the game will force you to scout holes plenty of times.

There are nine very easy quests in the game. Just finish them all to get the achievements.
  1. Get some empty scrolls. You can find them in the SW of Mountains 3.
  2. Kill a spider queen. She is in the NW of Mountains 3.
  3. Find a ring. It's in the NW of Temple 2 next to the fire camp.
  4. Kill 6 skeleton. Just take a walk backwards and some new skeletons just spawned for you.
  5. Find some books. Two are in the NE of Sanctuary 1 and one in central room of Sanctuary 3.
  6. Kill some skeletons. They are in Mountains 4, where you can get from Mountains 3 near the fire camp.
  7. Get some bones. They are in the N of Sanctuary 1.
  8. Collect some samples. They are in the SE Mines 1 and underground of Mines 2.
  9. Kill a skeleton king. He's in the SW of the main room in Mines 1.

Again ignore as you will get thousands of criticals soon enough.

Get ready for the most annoying, boring, demotivating, horrible, *insert random negative adjective* achievement ever. This is quite tricky one. Try to leave it till the very end, when you're on high level, your enemies are on high level and they have plenty of HP. Do you remember from the tips, when I told you to keep the very first basic broken knife. Once you unlock the skill, max it, so you have 11% chance to backstab out of each critical hit from behind. That's not much.

Now why the broken knife? Because you don't want to kill enemies. You want to hurt them. Hurt them as little as possible. Equip your almighty common broken knife and find your victims. I recommend the three sentinels in Temple level 1 as they are in closed cells, so you can release them one by one and the room is 3x3 squares - ideal for some knife dancing. Set your difficulty to normal. On easy they have too little HPs and on harder they move too fast.

Now just get one sentinel to the middle of the room, dance around him and poke his back with the knife. Soon you'll get familiar with the normal damage range. In my case it was 9-12 (depends on your strength). Therefore double damage (18-24) was a normal critical hit. Aaaand whenever you do quadruple damage (36-48), it was a backstab.

The chances and frequency of hits is very annoying and very hard for impatient people. Sometimes I had three backstabs in one sentinel and sometimes I went 9 sentinels without a single backstab.

Simply max any skill. Nothing difficult.

In order to reach level 50 you need to kill. A lot. And grind. However there is a trick if you want to do it faster. Every time you finish the game and start again with the same character, whole game changes enemy levels according to your character's level. And they scale. So mountains>temple>sanctuary>mines>caves.

Now the trick. During your first playthrough when you reach binding stone in Mines level 3, return to the entrance to Mines level 1 from Mountains level 2. There are two red orbs you got from temple and sanctuary, right? You don't need them there anymore. Take them and put them in your storage chest. Finish game and when you start again, you can just take the orbs and open your way directly to Mines without having to go through temple and sanctuary again. Mines are not meant to be entred immediately, therefore levels of enemies are much higher and you get muuuuuch more XPs for killing them. (I used to grind for some 2000xp/kill)
Achievements pt.2

Simply finish the game once and twice. If you use the trick from "Hard Worker", you can speed-run the second playthrough.

Once you reach "berserk" skill (which is BTW quite good), you start automatically hit twice every now and then. No need to count or anything. It will pop up fast.

Another achievement which is actually hard not to get. As you go through the game, activate all the binding stones and it's yours. If you still miss some, use the maps to check. Here is the list:
  • Mountains 2
  • Mountains 3
  • Temple 1a
  • Temple 1b
  • Temple 3
  • Sanctuary 3
  • Mines 3
  • Caves 1a
  • Caves 1b (Mage path. If you took another one, you can return later.)
  • Caves 2

These achievements are actually quite annoying if you want to do them with one character. You cannot spend the skill points. You have to store them unused until you have 34 of them. Then max mage, load, max ranger, load, max warrior, load and then use however you want.

Primitive. Buy all the inventory space. It's lots of money in the beginning, but later you won't feel it. Just leave it for later when you're rich.

Every single map has a black stone. Find it and destoy it. Easy as that.

This achievement is actually quite difficult and took me a while to get it... Just kidding. Simply die.

You will kill hundreds. (Or at least I did.) 50 is not a problem within few minutes.

The only dungeon you don't have to enter to win the game (without the trick from "hard worker") is Mountains 4, which you can enter after you get a quest to kill some Elora's friends.

There are many secrets. Use the maps below if you need help with them. Every time you enter a secret, you'll hear quiet, but surprisingly satisfactory sound. Count them to 20 and you have it.

This was strange achievement, because it felt broken. I killed many skeletons with spiders' poison or spells of stone crushers, but nothing worked. My last hope was the lightning spell of the final boss. My patience paid off and I got it after killing 5 skeletons with her spells by simply moving out of the way.

DLC brings tiny dungeon with 9 challenges. Yes, nine. And the achievement say 10. I spent looooooots of time searching for the last challenge. However there is no tenth challenge. All you have to do is to finish one of the challenges twice. -_-

Have complete bestiary. Every creature has to be killed several times to get the record in your bestiary. All enemies in the games are:
  • Keskan
  • Bone Enforcer
  • Sentinel
  • Waspir
  • Bone Slasher
  • Dark Sentinel
  • Sentinel Crusher
  • Virulent Amnin
  • Grim Slime
  • Stone Slasher
  • Elayne

All you need is to find complete Miner armour. Most of the pieces are in secrets. If you miss some, use the maps for help.
Achievements pt.3 - Cartographer/Maps pt.1
For cartographer you have to uncover every single tile in the game. That means:
- Scouting empty rooms, including corners
- Jumping in every hole, because many have permanent closing mechanisms
- Pay attention to tiny tiles which might be uncoverable only by jumping in the hole next to them for example in the north of Temple 3:

Now to the maps:

Thx for the guide.
About the assassin backstab achievement, it is easier to prepare 1 of those sentinels, quicksave and smack his back till death and quickload instead of releasing another sentinel.

It also helps if you yarrrharrr your skills to to have bonuses like stunning the enemy

Great guide, very helpful.

How do you get to the 4 squares in the bottom middle of Mountains level 2?

I got another bug. I'm near the end. I wanted to change my spells (got 6 slots) and when I removed 1 (or 2 or 3) I can't add any spel. It says my slots are full wich are clearly not.

Collector does not require finding all the scrolls, having 16 scrolls total with some duplicates from previous runs works.
