Introduction
Welcome to The Arcadian's Handbook, a handy guide to the finer aspects of Arcadia. Here you'll find a complete list of items, weapons, sub-weapons and Legacy modifiers, along with a few extras.

If you are looking for something specific, consider using your browser's Find function (typically Ctrl+F or similar).

This guide is currently a Work In Progress; as such, it's missing some data. If you have any data that I'm missing, please feel free to contact me on Steam, Discord or in the comments section!

Items - Stats (30)
A good portion of the items in Gunmetal Arcadia are "stat" items - they simply raise your stats. This is not a bad thing, however, since accumulating a lot of them will greatly enhance your abilities!

Items - Quest Items (7 + 1)
Some of stat items are Quest items - each one belongs to one of the characters, and if you talk to that character in-run after finding their item you'll be given the option of returning the item to that character. If you do, you'll get an achievement (per character), and a Legacy modifier that makes Quest items more common! Quest items are statistically better than non-Quest stat items - all Quest items give two stat boosts, and some non-Quest stat items only affect one stat.

Additionally, if you're playing as a character and you find their quest item, you'll automatically complete the requirements, earning the achievement and the Legacy modifier for your next run. This is the only way to complete Vireo's achievement, since he never appears as an NPC!

Items - Faction Sigils (2)
Other notable stat items are the two Faction Sigils - the Vanguard Sigil and the Seeker Sigil. These items can be collected from the leaders of Arcadia's two competing factions, and once collected, will align you with the corresponding faction.

They can be collected multiple times - each faction leader you come across will stock a single sigil. For each sigil you possess, your aligned faction will offer you discounted prices and increased sell value for your items, but beware - your opposing faction will increase shop prices and undervalue your items out of spite!

Collecting multiple sigils also grants you a cumulative stat bonus - get ready to hit really hard as a loyal Vanguard, or soar to the skies as a devout Seeker!

Furthermore, aligning with a faction will grant you a Legacy modifier on your next run that makes that faction appear more frequently. Not aligning with either faction will grant you some bonus starting equipment.

This is a very detailed guide, I wish someone would do something like this for one of mine besides me lol.
Steev 7 May, 2017 @ 2:15pm
I was trying to decipher the iSigil's description a few weeks back when I first got it, but eventually gave up. Today I kind of cheated and used an online decipherer [planetcalc.com] to find its meaning. Turns out the reason I couldn't figure it out on my own was because it wasn't in English! It's partially a phrase commonly used in English, though:

Soup du jour: rubeum allec.

I didn't know what the last bit meant, but after some digging, I found the answer.
rubeum allec = Latin for "red herring"

So the whole thing basically means "Soup of the day: red herring."

Heh.
