Towards the beginning of the game, after listening to the cassettes and our first glimpse of the Ghastly Girl in Yellow, you will descend another flight of stairs.


Along the wall you can interact with a trash can, but it will be "too dark" to see anything.


Make your way down to the lighter and pick it up. Rather than continuing along your merry way, make a stop back at that trash can.



You'll notice a memo which hints at this particular ending. A new path has opened in the woods!
You won't need to worry about this for a while, though. So continue on with the game as you normally would, eventually making your way around Judith Manor.

There are no other prerequisites to this ending, other than making sure you read that first memo, mentioned above. What you do while at Judth Manor has no bearing on this ending. Without spoiling too much, you will eventually come into possession of the Lemniscate key, along with another memo. You'll be given a choice to stay, or leave. For this ending, you will leave.



Walk down the road, until you come to a group of traffic cones. Take the dirt path to the right.




You'll see a scarecrow in the distance. Rather than moving upward, continue on toward the lower right-hand corner of the screen. There will be another dirt path.




You'll find another memo from that secret admirer. Although the memo warns you to leave, continue your way on the dirt path--upward this time.



Simply move toward the scarecrow and that all-too-familiar eye and accept your impending fate. Enjoy the ride!
